The rooms feel a bit small, especially when one has more luggage and stays for a longer time.

The staff are very kind, and the rooms are regularly cleaned. They have excellent toiletries.

The staff were all polite, helpful, and friendly. The location was excellent for walking into the city and attractions. Food in the restaurant and breakfast was great.

Limited parking. Room a little small as bed huge but not a problem. Lighting rather subdued.

Had to pay extra for parking and spaces were very limited so leaving the hotel was a the risk of not having a space when you got back (which happened to me). Maybe only 30 spaces for the whole hotel.

Didn’t like the‘flying saucer’ bedside lights. I hit my head on them twice and my arm twice. I learned after that.

The shower was lovely but the floor in the shower needed a little updating (a few scratches). There was air conditioning but the room still was very warm during the evening.

The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Anything we asked for wasn't too much. The room was very comfortable, especially the beds and a lot of light came into the room which was lovely.

Shower door was rubbish needs improving

Cleanliness, staff were friendly but not overbearing. Breakfast for children free was excellent.

A minor issue but the pump of the hand wash dispenser near the basin didn’t work so it was messy getting soap from it .

Nice location next to temple gardens, quiet even though it had a city location. The hotel atrium had a beautiful smell. Room decor was good for a hotel and the use of blue for the pictures of Bristol a subtle nod to Bristol Blue pottery maybe we thought. The pillows and duvet were really comfy. Helpful and friendly staff.

There was shower gel and conditioner in the shower but no shampoo. OK, mistakes happen, clearly an oversight. However, reception messaged me not once but twice to check that we had everything we needed, and I made them aware that we hadn't been provided with shampoo. This was not resolved at any point during our 2 night stay. Why take the trouble to check on us and then not deal with a very basic service like a quick refill of shampoo? I can only conclude that they use the same product to fill the shower gel and shampoo dispensers, which isn't ideal.

Comfortable beds, like sleeping on clouds. Good shower and basic tea making facilities. Friendly and welcoming staff on reception. The hotel is 7 minutes walk from Bristol Temple Meads station and really good value for money.

Not much around the area unless you want to go shopping. And difficult to get initial access because of the roadworks very complicated.
