Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt would have been nice to have a hot breakfast, however we were well catered for without the hot breakfast. We couldn't figure out whether we could get live television.
Very comprehensive continental breakfast. The bed was super comfy and the space was very roomy with everything we needed.

United KingdomThere was nothing to dislike
I loved its quiet location, the history of it being an old railway station was fascinating. Being on business the WiFi was to die for, I don’t even get that speed at home or in the office. Amanda’s attention to detail is something else.

United KingdomAn absolute pleasure to stay at the Old Ningwood Station. Beautiful property, big garden for fresh air in the morning. The host, Amanda, very welcoming and discreet at the same time. All the touches in the room felt well intended and prepared for our comfort. The room was excellent, separate unit with en-suite and mini-kitchen with everything you need to prepare anything you have in mind. Maybe a nice, juicy steak and have a glass of wine, you need to do your shopping ahead. We also had Mediterranean breakfast ready for us, included, which was brilliant 🤩. The BED…. Oh the bed…. Bed was big and comfortable, I only wished I wasn’t a morning dweller and could sleep in more. I would definitely go back in the summer to stay for longer, I’m so happy I discovered this hidden jewel 💎 in the Isle of Wight.

United KingdomA perfect, peaceful spot with some lovely historical features that make it unique. The breakfast in the room was lovely, with lots of choices of fruit, meats, cheeses etc and gave a good start to the day. The host was around a lot of the time and checked in on us to see that everything was good too. Plus, it’s right on a bus route so you can explore the island without having to drive.

The property was beautiful. From the clean, tidy and stunning room to the beautiful surroundings of the garden and areas surrounding the property, we were extremely happy with our stay. Amanda was an excellent host and was very easy to communicate and talk to. Me and my partner wanted a nice weekend away to relax and reset from our busy working lives and that’s exactly what we got by staying here. We felt very welcomed by Amanda and we had everything we needed in our room. A highlight was definitely being able to pop the kettle on and sit outside in the sun with a cup of tea and the yummy biscuits that were supplied on the bedside tables 😁😋

United KingdomEverything was amazing, no complaints.
The great breakfast, the selection is fabulous, and for us ideal as we can chill out in the room and get ready for the day. Bed is super comfy, the room is spotless and the views out the windows is stunning. There's a pub nearby that offers good pub grub which proved very handy. If we visit the island again we'll definitely be booking here.
