Room was cold, radiator was off and took a long time to heat up. No staff around, rang the bell at reception but still had to go into the kitchen to look for someone.

Room was clean, comfy bed, nice bathroom, good sized TV, spacious.

Breakfast is in a neighbouring hotel. This wasn't an issue as we found a great cafe in town. There is noone on reception on Sunday. Posted the key through the letterbox. The main room light goes on and off.

Comfy beds, cosy room, quiet. Dinner was very good. Lovely shower and bath sheets provided. Room was upgraded for free.

You may want to check the seal around the shower as it does leak after a shower, nothing major but it should be looked at.

Easy access with the use of drop boxes. The Club Houses was quiet for that time of year.

We deliberately chose a smaller room that advertised a bigger bed. On arrival the bed was a standard double and our friends who booked after us were upgraded to a suite with a king bed at a lower price than we paid. This wasn't great from a customer perspective, but not earth shattering.

Nice clean and comfortable hotel. Great location and a good value room. Lovely west end location and quiet for sleep and rest.

It was reasonably basic with no frills. The bed was acceptable and the room was acceptable based on the price. The kettle did not work properly and would not turn off when boiled. We would have mentioned this to staff, but the reception was not manned in the morning and the front door was lock closed when we left at about 10:15ish. The big issue was the outside lights. We were in a room at the rear and when at the rear there were no lights along the walk from the rear of the hotel to the door. At the door sensor lights came on. So for a distance of maybe 30 yards there was no lights and it in the evening and morning at this time of year it was dark and you could not see the ground. Very dangerous and if anyone falls, which would be easily done, as there is a step and it is a trip hazard. Lawyers are us spring to mind. The hotel would lose.

It was a last minute booking as were staying at another hotel. It was close to the hotel we were going to so that was good. The price was also good and maybe that was bettered because there was no breakfast available.

The large bed looked so nice but I spent most of the night on the mattress as the sheet was too small. The bed was far to soft.

The carpet needed hoovering, several bits on the floor. Pity about the view, a rather dirty untidy flat roof top with empty paper cups thrown around and needed a clean up. It would be good to have a few herbal teas for night time…a bonus!

Good spacious room, excellent bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities good. Heating once found warmed the room well on a very cold night. Would stay here again. Excellent price.

Check-in slot was 3 to 4 we arrived around 3.30, no staff on site. All numbers were unanswered. a pleasant member of staff arrived to open bar around 4.15 but had no access to reception, but he did manage to get ahold of someone who could send someone with access, we got checked in over an hour after arriving. The management were disappointed in our experience and did try to make up for it with a meal. Also when we booked there was no mention of additional charge per dog which was £25 per dog(a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT) making an additional £50, when I indicated that I was unhappy with this! It was reduced to £25 as a goodwill gesture. This location seems to be run (at least in the winter) with a skeleton staff. When I went for a pre-booked lunch in the bar, I sat in the bar for 20 minutes before anyone turned up. As a suggestion they could be doing with a couple more lights out back? It's very dark until the light at the annex kicks in. It's a shame really as it's a nice wee hotel and obviously has potential, unfortunately it's just not being realised at present.

The bathroom was very small, nothing like in the pics. Also it is a pity that the only 2 'employees' we saw were the barman on 1 night and the cleaner on the 1st day. Would have been nice to see someone at reception to perhaps ask about the area and so on.

Hotel is located in a nice area and having free parking is a big plus. The room was quite and the bed comfy.

Kitchen only open until 8.30pm, was given no warning it was closing soon so couldn’t order a dessert and another table received their main course after this time. Probably better for the waistline but was looking forward to trying the Sticky toffee pudding and the hotel lost out on us spending more money.

What saddened me was a little sign in the beautiful bathroom that said " Please do not clean your golf clubs on the bath towels" . What sort of a moron would do that in a delightful place like this ? Would they do that at home I wonder?

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely bed , lovely bathroom. Not being able to have breakfast there was not an issue at all for us. The bar downstairs was light and airy , the staff very friendly. All good!
