Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room was a bit small so not much room for our suitcases. But we were upgraded to a room with a spare single bed so we placed our suitcases on it.
We didn't eat breakfast but the restaurant located at the hotel was quite good and the prices were very reasonable for expensive London. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The cleaning staff was very efficient and thorough. The location, adjacent to Hyde Park and near Knotting Hill was superb and there was a tube (subway) station only five minutes walk from the property. Also, the hotel was located on a cul de sac so it was very quiet there.

Hong KongEven though the hotel does have a lift which can reach most of the rooms, the room allocated to me still needed to climb a few staircases thereafter. To those who do solo travel with a large luggage might be a little difficult. (But the scenery is really great)
The room allocated to me, its window faced at a church, which made the scenery of the room great And the TV inside can link to YouTube.

United KingdomThe website made it lok lie the bathrooms were huge and tried much better tan what we had , they put te bathrooms from the suites on te website , not a true representation of our tiny bathroom. Only one person on reception at busy times but okay only a 15 min wait to check out .No alcohol , not stated on website , no option to buy had to go out for my birthday tipple .
The staff , location how quiet it was , lovely architecture Breakfast was great , good value for money.

TurkeyThe corridors were small, I had difficulty to move between my room and the reception, its harder with a big luggage and carpets on the floor. It would be better to have better fresh air circulation since the windows was opening not enough to get good and instant fresh air.
Location was the best for me. As a solo female traveler I feel safe. Around was good enough to feel filtered chaotic personalities on the street.

IrelandMy room was just beside of the lift, so at night we were able to listen to the lift’s cable running until certain hour. Even with the heater off, the room was very warm, make sure to ask for the air conditioning controller.
The staff were very kind. Great location, easy to connect to many points in the city by public transport. Nice shower. Quiet and safe area.
