Kitchen cupboards need a upgraded

Great Stay for my Partner and his work colleagues! Needed to be in Nuneaton to do some courses. Only 15 mins away from their place. Clean and tidy. Got what they need and the host was intouch with answer if needed too

Great location, close to town. Good value for money. Shop around the corner for any extras you may need and never struggled for parking. All the amenities we needed. Owner was quick and responsive to messages.

There isn't anything I didn't like and on the whole it was good, but a few things that could be addressed for future reference - the floor hadn't been vacuumed before we stayed as there were a lot of bits on the floor. The fridge still had food in from the previous guests. There was a shortage of cutlery. The beds were a bit uncomfortable - you could feel the springs. If I'm being extra picky -the carpets could do with a deep clean. The toilet seat needs tightening. These are all minor and didn't detract from our stay which was to attend an event in the nearby area.

The accommodation was pleasantly decorated and equipped and on the whole very clean and well presented. On street parking was available outside. It was pleasant enough and would stay again if needed to be in the area again.

-Door required a knack to lock. I did not possess it. - bathroom is lovely but over bath shower doesn't give you a lot of room to maneuver to wash yourself.

Lounge area was not super clean so walking barefoot not feasible. Stairs to bedrooms and bathrooms would be an issue for older people.

Suited what we needed and had a washing machine and dryer. Parking out the front was easy.

When you enter the property you walk straight into a single bedroom, we used this as a storage room. There were marks all over the walls and paint peeling. In the kitchen the vinyl was peeling off the cupboards so looked nothing like the pictures on the site. In fact one of the cupboards was missing a door. Lots of house rules which made us nervous of the kids running around with the creaky stairs (didn’t want to disturb the neighbours), thankfully we only used it as a base to sleep as my parents house was across the road. The cigarette bin was full of dog ends and water which didn’t smell very nice, so we couldn’t have the kids outside in case they messed with it (three inquisitive autistic boys). The beds were rather firm and not the most comfortable so could also do with updating. A £150 breakages deposit was paid (and refunded after the stay) but if house rules weren’t followed then another financial charge may have been encored. The condenser dryers water tray had not been emptied and was full. The tv took some getting used to and would take an age to load and had to be switched on every time via the button on the actual tv. Toilet seat was extremely loose, which in turn made us fearful of breaking it altogether. This could be a beautiful house with lots and lots of potential. Just needs some TLC and updating.

Good location, just a twenty minute walk to town or the bus stop is right outside. Perfect for us as we were visiting family who live on the same street. Had everything you need but no dishwasher. Toilet roll, towels, tea, coffee and sugar were all provided.

Everything. It smelt of damp and was mouldy, toilet seat didn’t fit on the toilet and was also broken, beds are very small and uncomfortable, kitchen is falling apart and peeling, was unclean. And was then accused of taking drugs by host. Can’t upload all photos

As soon as you walk through the door you are into one of the bedrooms which was a bit of a shock but not as much as how cold the house was. After asking the host I was told the cleaners had forgotten to put the heating on. The digital thermostat said the house was 7 degrees and it took 2 days until we could dispense with jackets and hats whilst in the house. The kitchen is in a poor state of repair. One cupboard door was not even on but was shoved under the counter next to the bin. The rest were worn, chipped and looking very sad. There is no dishwasher. Matresses are very uncomfortable especially in the 'bedroom' downstairs and guests should be aware the road is noisy, especially in the early morning.

"Free parking" is actually "on the road parking." The beds were incredibly uncomfortable - the downstairs single was unuseable in fact.

It's 27 minutes from the NEC so good for our trip. It was very clean and had a pretty well equipped kitchen.

When we arrived at the property the lock box code wasn’t the right one. Luckily the property owner was available and very quick to provide us with the right code to access the property. We didn’t realise when booking the property that one of the bedrooms was literally the front room as soon as you walked through the front door. This was really uncomfortable as we kept having to walk through a bedroom to access the property and with a glass door, there was no privacy. The property is very run down, there was paint peeling off the kitchen cupboards and damp in most of the rooms. There was lots of utensils and essentials in the kitchen but it was not the cleanest. The house could do with a good clean, there was potato chips down the sofa and stains on all the upstairs carpets. I know it’s not the properties fault but there was lots of ants in the living room and kitchen. We tried to sort this but it seem to be a recurring problem. The property owner did respond quickly with advice on how to try and manage the ants. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and with the property being on a main road there was lots of flashing lights and noises which caused a lot of disturbance throughout the night.

Like is a very strong word, but the parking outside the property was very useful.

The owner made me sign agreement after the money was payed with three full pages off fines. We couldn’t move literally stayed out all day and most off the night. I found a hotel with bed and breakfast for a lot cheaper and with no rules so I think we will stay there the next time we go.

I didn’t have a problem with the property other than can’t use towels or afraid too move as I got a three page agreement letter which I had too sign. There are rules obviously but i think the owner took it too extreme by the way off fines. I understand that she doesn’t want the place trashed but I think she took it too far. i couldn’t sleep had nightmares both nights I couldn’t wait until morning too go out and stay out all day. I will never stay there again and wouldn’t recommend it too anyone. we never used the towels and hardly moved around couldn’t wait to leave.
