A bit old and worse for wear, considering it’s a four star hotel

The room was upgraded from Standard but had no more facilities, indeed there was no bedside light on one side. The bathroom decoration was poor.

WE visit the RAH and this is a good location for that

The bedroom decor was very dated and shabby. The fridge was noisy and the hairdryer didn’t work.

The beds were very comfy and the breakfast was substantial with a very varied selection of foods. I liked the late checkout (noon) and the easy check-in and check-out. Great too that it was an easy stroll to the underground station at High Street Kensington.

Bath to shower switch wasn’t working. Staff did call to fix but stopped working again. Was near tube line and slight noise in the morning and night but nothing so extreme that we had any issues falling asleep.

Great location, close to public transport, staff very friendly, not a new hotel but you can tell a lot of money was put into it when it was built and is kept very well. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bedroom was clean and comfortable.

The rooms are old and need maintenance (AC and telephone are not working- bathroom needs completely to be renewed) Carpets to be changed. The bed sheets and pillows are consumed.

Location in high street kensington with a lot pf shops and cafes-the under ground station and many bus stops are 3 minutes walk from the hotel Price fare - nice lobby and staff/ fast checkin and checkout-

No second bedside lamp for reading or plug for charging phone next to bed. Fridge door was broken. Carpet could have been cleaner. Bathroom basic.

Great location in the heart of Kensington, easy travel links for underground, easy to visit museums on foot. Great for leaving luggage after checkout. Tea/coffee in room appreciated. Bed was very comfortable.

Our room was next to train line so a little noisy but trains did stop around midnight so didn't affect sleeping.

Great location for royal Albert Hall and the museums and only 5 minutes walk to tube station.

Two people in room only one chair.Difficult to reach safe, Needs shaving mirror in bathroom. Plates for hot food were cold and hot food just warm no selection of bread only slices for toasting.would pay more for a better selection.

Breakfast was awful. It was served in one of the conference rooms with communal tables for 12 (very tightly packed). Buffet was uninspiring and not very hot. Drinks in paper cups. Self service on a new level - collect your cutlet and find a spot to sit.

Location next to High St Ken tube is great and our room on the 12th floor had great views.

Bathroom clenliness

I stay at Copthorne for convenience and mainly cost. The rooms are very tired but bed is comfy. Bathrooms are disgracefully. Showers always leak point in the wrong direction and generally unclean. The sink plugs never work and the bath mat is dirty. Tile grouting dirty.

One or two housekeeping gripes we had to ask for the room to be cleaned after the first couple of days, the room was big but looks a bit tired now and in need of refurbishment

Bathroom needed a little attention - Tap sprayed out and they had to come fix the basin plug which was stuck. The staff reacted quickly and did tend to the issues. the heater in the room as also not working

The room was a little dated, although communal areas were ok. If you are looking for hotel to spend lots of time in, this proabably isn't it. It's functional, rather than having lots of facilities.

Excellent location, close to tube station and high street kensington shops, but set back so it is quiet. As a functional place to stay whilst visiting London it is a good option.

Bedroom was tired (fair enough) .. and not 100% clean (inexcusable) … had to change rooms as upon check in to original room there was somebody’s ‘bogey’ on the wall by the bed .. in a very obvious place not hidden so not sure how housekeeping could have missed it ? Changed rooms and although cleaner there were stains on the bed valance and it was very hot and stuffy even with the supposed‘aircon’ on Reception staff were very relaxed, the lady who changed my room wasn’t really that apologetic and was eating chocolates whilst serving me.
