Breakfast was ready to serve at ten to seven , but the lady said " We open at 7.00 am not before, which is strange as people need to eat and leave. It didn't stop her husband sneaking in for his packed breakfast tucked under his coat at 5 minutes to seven !!

I would have liked a hand rail on the wall over the bath to reduce the risk of slipping when getting out of it. Having had a nasty fall in another hotel when getting out of a bath I feel a hand rail would be a good safety feature. Some of the kitchen staffs clothes didn’t look too clean, which was a concern although the food was good.

It was very friendly. I upgraded to a better room before my stay and the room was lovely.

Exceptional Breakfast offering, set up by the Night Porter and ably assisted by two very pleasant young ladies! Room 208 has recently been renovated. Great job, now has loads of charging points for the modern traveller with their gadgets!

The hotel is in a convenient location, the staff were always friendly and courteous and were eager to help resolve problems. The food was excellent and our room clean and comfortable.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy parking. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. Had a great night's sleep! We came to Leeds for the football and to see the city. First time visit. Decided on this hotel instead of a city centre one, as much cheaper, also guaranteed free parking - most city centre hotels a lot more expensive and charge parking on top. Easy drive from the hotel into the city, or there is a bus stop near the hotel where you can get a direct bus to the centre for about £2. Really friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Pet friendly however pets are not allowed in the breakfast room which doesn't make any sense especially when people travel alone. Thankfully my dog was happy to stay at the reception with a member of staff whilst grabbing my breakfast but wasn't great and didn't seat well with me. Having to grab my breakfast from the buffet and then juggle dog and breakfast back to my room is definitely not something i will be keen to repeat. Obviously, ended up with cold food in the process too.

Most of the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was plentiful. The room was cosy and clean. Lift access and distributor for drinks and snacks.

The double bed was only very average however there was also evidence of rooms and furniture being upgraded.

The staff were very helpful and works well as a team. The chef was above average as a cook and also very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I travel a great deal with work. This was a personal trip, so I have high expectations of a hotel. The Corn Mill was great. The saving I made staying out of the centre easily covers the taxi's and paid for a few drinks on the night out as well, bonus! Would I stay again? Yes I will be.

The bathroom was a bit dated, but still quite adequate. the walls were a bit thin and we could hear the people moving about in the next room, but fortunately that wasn't a problem as we had earplugs. Might have been a lot worse if the neighbour had been snoring loudly!!
