We’ve stayed here a few times and they’ve recently revamped some of the rooms and modernised them. Never had an issue lovely rooms & good value for money.

Coffee was cold but I’m sure if I had asked the staff would have changed it. Totally my problem that I didn’t ask.

Property is in the middle of nowhere but worked for where I needed to stay for work. The building is old but has been well maintained. My room had a sliding door for a window which overlooked fields which was nice. The hotel was empty when I stayed but the staff were helpful and breakfast was fully covered and it didn’t feel like they had skimped on it due to less people being in the hotel.

The radiator in the room was practically touching the bed and no.matter what we tried we couldn't turn it off. The room was so uncomfortably hot. We couldn't let any air flow in as there was no window, only a fake balcony door. Bare in mind the proximity to the main road and the airport, leaving the door open wasn't an option. Hottest and possibly most uncomfortable nights 'sleep' I've had. On top of this there were clearly some issues with their plumbing as the bath kept randomly running during the night which was mega loud, and grgling as the water drained away. We also overheard other visitors complaining of plumbing issues in their room.

Nice atmosphere, food was great, staff were welcoming. Good size room and location was a reasonable distance from NEC

The smell of cannabis in the hallway leading to our room, this is not our first time witnessing this type of behaviour so can not fault the owner as it seems to be an issue in many places we have stayed. Would have liked to stay an extra night but the gentleman we asked didn't seem to get what we asking as we didn't want to move rooms the idea was so that we didn't have to leave the room in the morning and could of had an extra night, but he stated we would have move rooms when surly at would if made sense if our room was booked to put the new customers in the same type of room and keep us in ours as they was the same room, but he said no we would have to change rooms then wait to check back in at check in time when this isn't what we was asking for we wanted to extend our stay.

The location was very nice our room over looked landscape of fields and forestry. Peaceful even though alongside a main road was quiet. Big sliding patio door in our room with immediate bars so could lend over, this was at no extra cost.

The room was extremely basic and wasn't spotless. The carpet was stained and marked, no chair, bin or mirror in room, no hangers, no teabags or milk. However when I asked staff for a few items they brought them straight away and were very helpful. All the staff were really pleasant and friendly. The room was warm but the radiator in the room was very noisy. The hotel is very dog friendly. There was plenty of green space around the hotel for the dogs but the hotel is situated on a very busy main road so dogs had to remain on leads the whole time..

The room would benefit from double glazing as being near a busy road, you could here all the traffic. Also one of the windows wouldn't close properly, leaving a drafty gap. Some areas of the hotel looking very tired but hopefully these areas are on the hotels 'to do' list as there are areas that are up to standard.

Friendly staff. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable bed. Lovely shower. The meal in the evening was very nice, and the bar staff were lovely.

There wasn’t anything really. We had quite a long walk from our room to the hotel exit when the dog decided she was bursting for a wee…wondered if another ground floor exit / entrance would be possible down the bottom end (there’s a fire door?) But just a suggestion…we managed 😆 No hair dryer in room but can be requested from reception.

Extremely pet friendly. Loved that there were lots of other dogs around. (I always feel a little self-conscious travelling with a dog as not everywhere is as welcoming.) Jars with treats and poo bags in reception are a lovely touch. Felt really welcome in the bar area, so could also relax and enjoy a drink with my dog. The hotel is extremely clean - you wouldn’t know that dogs had been anywhere in the hotel. Great location for going to Crufts at NEC. Lovely countryside setting…great for dog walks.

Breakfast buffet starts early, finishes late and featured a good selection but the coffee and hot food was all a little cold at 6.50am.

Lovely big room with extra chairs and plenty of floorspace. Great to have a well priced bar restaurant on site with a good variety of food for an evening meal.

No receipt, still struggling to get one. The Venue is a bit run down and is obviously undergoing some refurbishment - hence the strong smell of paint etc. the hotel for me was way to hot - had to open window in room as unable to turn radiator of completely.
