Mould in the shower, sofa one end totally damaged, soundproofing was really bad, could hear upstairs moving around, sounded like they were in the apartment.

We could not find a property from the first time. We tried to contact the owner several times but hi never answered. So there was no communication with the owner at all:(. The flat had a noisy floor. And we couldn't find an empty parking space next to the property.

Parking not very clear but small car park for free near by. Paper thin walls but it is a very old building so maybe take ear plugs. Beds squeaky but comfy

Directions given to find the apartment and lockbox were very poor. Originally given the incorrect lockbox code. Phone numbers provided in emails when we needed assistance were not answered. Extremely frustrating. Had to knock apartments close by for help to tell me where apartment 5 Timber Section was. Steep Iron Staircase to enter the building. Nice apartment once inside. Very noisy at night. Outside traffic and people going about their business. Being a wooden structure soundproofing is poor. We could hear pretty much everything that went on in the apartment above. Conversation and television. 4.30 am Saturday Morning and 02.00 Sunday Morning. If we had known about this beforehand we would never have booked this apartment.

Good size,clean and comfortable. Everything that a couple would need for a 2 night stay was available in the apartment.

Abit dated- tv quality wasn’t good, with no access to things like iplayer or streaming services. Only 1 thin pillow per person. A welcome letter with information regarding using the flag would have been appreciate. Not the letters fault but neighbours were very noisy in the early hours.

Car parking may be an issue, if others have parked already. There is a car park in the adjecent road, but with luggage one may struggle. A bit rusty look to the old mill converted apartment on the outside and corridor but inside is clean and neat, Some windows do not have handles. Beds are comfy but squeak when rolled.

Location was excellent, right next to main road of Dover. Walkable to many shops, and easily reachable by car to Dover Castle and White Cliff walk in 5-10 mins. Great value for money.

The towels were dirty they gave us hardly any toilet roll. Windows don't stay open. Empty tablet boxes an blister packs were found in the bed side drawer. The fridge froze all our stuff. The fairy liquid was watered down. The shower door doesn't close properly. Fire alarm missing from the front room. Dvd remote doesn't work clock doesn't work. Fire extinguisher doesn't have a fire safety tag but it's used as a door stop which isn't good when u got 2yr old staying which was stated on the booking

We got there and the hallway leading to the apartment smelt really bad, the apartment itself was nice to begin with until you looked closer at things, the fridge smelt so bad we was unable to use it because when you opened it the whole room smelt like rotten cheese, there was limescale build up in the sink and the tap dripped constantly, the shower was still dirty as you can see in the pictures, then to top it all off we was unable to sleep due to the constant banging from upstairs, it literally sounded like a fight going on up stairs, we couldn’t leave as we didn’t have the extra money so had to deal with it but will not stay here again

As we visited during the summer month it was extremely hot in there. The windows unfortunately did not hold up in our room causing further warmth. The noise wasn’t the best but it wasn’t a major issue as it is on the main road!

The pictures don’t do the apartment justice actually. It is a nice clean apartment which is very well laid out. Clearly it has been used and we could see that but really was not bad at all.

The place hasn't been cleaned and the beds were not done and used towels on the bathroom floor. There were food bags from the previous guests. We tried contacting host several times and we still haven't received a response. The photos show how the place was when we arrived.

The code I was given did not work in the key box I found, this was because there were TWO number 5 apartments in building, and after trying unsuccessfully to ring the numbers I had been given for emergencies I managed to find a man who informed me that the apartment was around the corner of the building, and there was another key box. He unlocked this, gave me the keys, only to find there were 34 steps (3 staircases ) to be climbed to reach the apartment ! This for two people with mobility problems was no joke. This apartment should be advertised as unsuitable for people with mobility problems.
