We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe electric tea kettle had moldy water in it. I scrubbed it as much as possible but didn't use it because I didn't feel it was clean enough. Never got to watch cable tv.
Location is good. A bit complicated to get there, though. Comfy beds, clean.

United StatesParking. Our car was too big to fit in tiny garage and no visitor parking spaces available so had to park in unguarded open city lot. Next day found a visitor spot . If you come don't bring a car you can walk to train station and busses or bring a mini and you can fit in the garage. We had an audi family car and too big.
Lovely flat and well provided and close to Waitrose and city center.

United KingdomI had a great two night stay at the apartment. When you travel a lot for business its nice to be able to go somewhere to relax rather than staying in the usual hotel chains. It is spacious with a large lounge and kitchen area, has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and I was able to do all my own cooking, watch the huge TV and relax with a nice cup of tea. The apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay and is a short walk (approx. 10 mins) to major supermarkets. It has its own small garage (main parking space) big enough for a car or small van of similar size to a Vauxhall Combo. If you need to go to Basingstoke for work or to visit relatives and want an alternative to big brand hotels then the apartment would be perfect for you!

United KingdomOur car could only just get into garage, only informed SUV's would not fit when we received the arrival details email 2 days before (not stated on Booking.com details at time of booking). Informed there were visitor spaces, marked V, for our daughter to park but these spaces did not exist. Entry details for a different building were sent making it hard to enter but sorted out with one phone call.
The apartment was very good, clean, well equipped and comfortable. 10 minute walk to some nice restaurants. We would stay there again when visiting family.

United KingdomCouldn’t find the apartment for over an hour because wasn’t given a door number! Called tons to both numbers mobile landline and out of hours but no answer! Called back later but we had already found the apartment by then Kettle dirty, plates and cups dirty! Hole in on sweet bathroom door. Inside of fridge had mould inside! Loads of filled in holes! Poor cutlery most of the spoons where disposal wooden spoons. Check out said 11 when I booked yet the day before we attended it changed to 10! Showers scolding hot or Luke warm nothing in between

United KingdomVery unclean, the fridge was dirty and wasn’t very cold. The oven and mirrors were filthy. The water was scolding hot and my son got burnt, couldn’t have an enjoyable shower as the shower heads needed replacing and the water was so hot or lukewarm. Furniture wobbly and falling apart, dining chairs filthy with stains. The list of faults go on and on.
The beds was comfortable.
