Bar prices very expensive but service was good. Trying out a new concept in restaurant for dinner not explained very well by staff like tapas but food service staggered Breakfast didn’t improve restaurant opinion waited over 30 for cooked breakfast

Base part of bed uncovered and looked a bit dirty. TV worked intermittently.

Lovely hotel, we had a bit of drama at the arrival however Neelum the lovely lady who was on reception was so helpful and sorted this out for us so we really appreciate that thank you she is an asset to your team! Rooms were clean and of good size, nice bar area with good selection of drinks and cocktails there was a deal on for 2 for £16 peach punch was lush! Good location right in the centre of Canterbury town

Personal preference but the beds are VERY soft and (for me), not at all comfortable.

Location is excellent, parking is good value (compared to overnight car parks), staff friendly and helpful, good breakfast.

We had a room at the front of the hotel which was very noisy throughout the night Make sure you ask for a room at the back!!

Our room was clean and tidy, but looked a little tired, probably in need of a refurb at some stage.

Hotel is in an excellent location for events in the town. We were attending an event at The Marlowe theatre and it is literally 5 minutes away. Hotel has a nice cocktail bar, although there is no draft beer available. Restaurant has recently changed to a Tapas menu. We enjoyed our meal, although as we ate early there were only a couple of tables occupied. Breakfast was excellent and having booked a B&B stay could choose anything from the menu.

The bathroom had issues. However, nothing that means it cannot be used and we have let the hotel know. The Maintenance man is excellent and I'm sure the issues will be sorted. Didn't like the £18 per night for parking. But bearing in mind the great location and convenience of parking behind the hotel it was probably no more expensive than anywhere else. Guests should be aware that they cannot reserve a space and space is very limited.

All good. Excellent, friendly staff who did all they could to help in anything we needed. Great restaurant and breakfast was excellent. Loved the very large room and 2 metre bed. The room was very clean.

There was insufficient lighting to read in bed. The fruit for breakfast was rather uninspiring .

The room was big and the bed was large and very comfortable . The location is great . You can walk out of the hotel and easily reach the cathedral and a range of shops & restaurants . Parking is not so easy however.

Heating could be a bit better.

Staff are very welcoming. My room was upgraded, which was really nice. Bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. Perfect location. Would definitely stay there again.

We paid for an upgrade as a birthday present for a family member but the room hadn’t been cleaned so they ended up in a normal room. Disappointed
