The gracious hosts accommodated all our needs!We wished we had booked for more than three days to enjoy the property and surrounding area.

It was a very peaceful location with ample room to relax and explore. The breakfast prepared each day (both fruit/ pastry/ fresh bakes) and hot breakfast was the best we have had in 35 years of traveling around the world.

Location, beautifully appointed and exceptional outlook. The breakfasts were outstanding, with host freshly bak ed cakes daily that were amazing. Louise is passionate about her food. The room was spacious, bright and exquisitely appointed.

A peaceful setting in a beautiful house. Friendly hosts and a lovely comfortable bedroom (Lochnagar) and great tasty breakfasts. Close to Balmoral Castle and the lovely village of Ballater. We would definitely recommend this luxurious B & B and enjoyed our 2 night stay very much.

The property is set back from the road in a very rural location, the decorative order is excellent, room was full of character and the beds were nice and comfortable. The hosts were attentive and the breakfast was fantastic

There was nothing we did not like !

Very stylish accommodation, .beautifully decorated. The bedroom was spacious and spotlessly clean and the bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom and the shower were also a good size..Bath robes and slippers were provided as well. There was a very good seldction of teas and coffee as well as lovely biscuits, homemade shortbread and delicious cake provided too.The hosts were very accommodating and the views stunning.! We enjoyed a very substantial breakfast with lots of choice ! It really was delicious. I would definitely recommend staying at Craggan if you are visiting Royal Deeside!

There was nothing not to like.

Our host was very friendly, helpful and available to answer questions about the area. Breakfast was outstanding, including made to order entrees and a delicious buffet of fruits, yogurt, and homemade breads and pastries. The room was beautifully appointed, large and comfortable. Robes and slippers were available for use. The bathroom was large and exceptionally clean. The property was peaceful and beautiful.

That we couldn't stay longer!!!

Martyn and Louise were wonderful hosts! They really couldn't do enough for us and we felt like we were being welcomed into their home rather than a B&B. Genuinely a lovely couple and their love for hosting is obvious in all the little extra touches. The house is absolutely stunning and we couldnt have asked for anything more from our room. Super comfy bed, fantastic views, plush furnishings, freshly baked cakes, room made up every morning, the list could go on!!! Breakfast was cooked to perfection and every one of Louise's home baked cakes were delicious! (there are even little boxes so you can take away one of your favourites!) Martyn was the perfect breakfast host and always had a smile and time for a chat in the morning. We could not fault one thing about our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone. If we're back in Ballater we will 100% be returning to Craggan! thank you to both of you for making our stay so lovely. Caz & Dave x

My partner and I loved everything about this place.

Craggan Luxury Bed and Breakfast is simply stunning! 😍 Starting with the nice warm welcome from the hosts, showing everything around,leading us to our room. The Balmoral room was just beautiful. We had a lovely slices of cake just recently baked as a welcoming into the room. Every detail in that room was absolutely amazing. Breathtaking views. Our bed time was so comfortable with a king size bed and our sleeping time was very peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, cooked by Martyn and Louise. A display of nice selection of fruit, bread and cakes. Followed by a hot meal of our choice. Martyn was so attentive, serving breakfast and making sure that everyone was happy with their meals. It was just perfect! 🌷

A house where you feel completely at home. The service was excellent, always attentive and unobtrusive. On the terrace, you can enjoy the view and also watch pheasants. The room and bathroom were spacious. And the host even arranged a reservation at a fully booked restaurant. Thank you.

Incredibly friendly hosts, who are very proud of their place and what they offer. Also extremely helpful. I had a problem with my bike (I travel with) and the host went to great lengths to assist me mechanically with the repairing the issue. Not to mention how comfortable and spacious the room was, amazing breakfast, and the setting/location. All round wonderful.

Martin and Louise are lovely hosts. They are passionate about ‘doing it right’ - and certainly went the extra mile to make our (too short a) stay a memorable one. Our room was great. Very large, and well appointed with a super comfy bed and lovely white linen. Breakfast was super and the ‘take a piece with you’ home baking was lovely touch. We defiantly hope to visit again.
