Nothing, it was all wonderful

The location was AMAZING. The dining area and my bedroom overlooked the river. It was peaceful and relaxing. The food was exceptional. It was Master Class equilvant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My dog loved it too. She had her own bed, courstesy of the hotel, and lots of fuss and treats. Sitting by the open fire after a long day walking was an added treat. We will return later in the year.

Extremely friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help during the whole of our stay. The room was beautiful and spotless with gorgeous views of the river and grounds. We didn't eat in the restaurant at night but the breakfast was amazing!

breakfast was amazing, served nicely at the table. We booked to have dinner there, which also exceeded our expectations. The sour dough bread was absolutely delicious. The room was spacious and clean. We went for a short walk around the river and enjoyed every moment. Overall, a perfect get away and really nice, soothing atmosphere.

I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like, maybe not being able to stay longer.

I liked how friendly the staff were. I liked how clean and comfortable the rooms were. I loved the views and the location beside the river and that we were able to take a walk nearby. We had breakfast both mornings of our stay and took dinner one night. The food was excellent, dinner especially so. The people we met locally when we walked to the nearest pub were very friendly. We were made to feel very welcome. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel and area.

The breakfast was limited and the service was slow. At one breakfast fried eggs were served that were severely overcooked and should never have been served. The dinner menu was fine, but except for the duck, noit exceptional

Our room was superb with a glorious view and very comfortable. Hotel location is very convenient for ByC, but happily not in the busy center. The duck dinner was delicious, very memorable

Lovely location. Wonderful view from our room overlooking the gardens. Rooms clean, spacious and well appointed. Helpful manager and staff. Dog friendly with good walk in enclosed grounds leading to a quiet lane that leads into the village. Good breakfast. Would recommend!

The food was amazing and I would recommend booking the restaurant. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Riverside suit was lovely spacious and with a great balcony overlooking the river.

The hotel is dog-friendly which is lovely, however we were woken each morning before 6:00am with the noise of dogs and/or guests taking dogs outside which didn't make for the most restful stay. Appreciate this isn't anything the hotel can do anything about but it's just to be mindful of when booking your stay.

Beautiful location on the riverside with lovely grounds and breakfast views. Easy walking distance to Betws-y-Coed. All the staff were superb and really friendly.
