Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

the ceiling height of the rooms is depressingly low. The spa changing room is unheated.

The standard room could be slightly bigger.

The room was a little on the small side
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went the extra mile with the kids - I can't speak highly enough of them. The breakfast selection was very good and the food was good quality.

The king suites although they have a bathroom, the baths are exceptionally small and narrow, the spaces allocated to these on suites need to be increased.

Shower was disappointing- overhead shower soaked the whole bathroom. No fitting to hold up the hand held shower so kept having to turn it on and off. Lighting in the bedroom was poor for reading.
Good location near Harry Potter Studios. Kids loved the pool. Staff helpful.

The steam room wasn’t working in the spa and there was no lounger or chairs to sit on in the spa area to rest in between swimming, saunas etc.
I loved the restaurant menu options (dinner) and the live entertainment

I can't think of anything we didn't like. But one comment would be that for people with mobility issues the swimming pool and other spa facilities had a lot of steps to go up and down in order to access the pool etc. There didn't appear to be any way of accessing them if you found stairs difficult.
The staff were polite and happy to help in any way they could and made the stay pleasant. The leisure facilities were also good... we particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi/hot-tub

Used the spa facilities around 7pm and found the changing rooms to be less than satisfactory. Towels, robes, plasters and rubbish on the floor. Large pools of water on floor and slippers everywhere.

Bathroom was nicely laid out, main shower was a bit feeble, but that may just be that room having limescale clogging.
Room was very comfortable, not huge, but enough space. There was TV, Tea and coffee, water and an iron in cupboard. Pool facilities were really nice, they were clean and fairly quite, and water was pleasantly warm. They were open a long time each day, and staff were very helpful. Food was very good, both breakfast and evening meal, and staff could not have been more helpful. Train station is 5 mins in car, then 19 mins direct service to London Marylebone. It was all very comfortable, slightly dated in decor, if that kind of thing bothers you then it may not be for you, but for a comfortable stay close to London we would recommend.
