We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

This is the most nicest place to stay. Owner Gary really knows what the guests need. Rooms comfy ,clean, .and well presented. Room cleaned every day, with fresh towels and refreshments replenishing. Breakfast is fantastic, well cooked, and served hot. Toast is thick cut with choice of white or wholemeal. I have stayed in many places in Scarborough, which have never reached the standards at the Dolphin. Gary's hospitality is excellent. This is highly recommended the place to stay. Lovely Park, Peasholm 2 minutes walk and town centre 10 minutes.

Room was clean and well appointed for the price with a good size ensuite. Breakfast was well cooked hot and good quality. Gary is very friendly and looks after you. Room serviced every day which is above the norm compared to other quest houses. Good value and would return without hesitation. If you paid another £20 plus per night the rooms would be as they say contemporary but that's personal choice.
