There is not one negative thing.

This is the most nicest place to stay. Owner Gary really knows what the guests need. Rooms comfy ,clean, .and well presented. Room cleaned every day, with fresh towels and refreshments replenishing. Breakfast is fantastic, well cooked, and served hot. Toast is thick cut with choice of white or wholemeal. I have stayed in many places in Scarborough, which have never reached the standards at the Dolphin. Gary's hospitality is excellent. This is highly recommended the place to stay. Lovely Park, Peasholm 2 minutes walk and town centre 10 minutes.

Nothing to complain about but a fruit bowl next to the cereal and different sausage would be a plus.

Room was clean and well appointed for the price with a good size ensuite. Breakfast was well cooked hot and good quality. Gary is very friendly and looks after you. Room serviced every day which is above the norm compared to other quest houses. Good value and would return without hesitation. If you paid another £20 plus per night the rooms would be as they say contemporary but that's personal choice.

The Dolphin guesthouse is a very nice building, feeling cozy and located in a good spot of the city. The owner, Gary, was super nice person, taking care of everything. All in all, it was a good choice for the price. The breakfast made by Gary himself was one of the best points of our stay.

well, what I'm gonna say about the guest house the Dolphin ,is really nice place to stay and really quiet and really organized and you got breakfast as well. It was nice breakfast. Yeah and specially the owner Gary is really really good man and he looks after you and is there to help you anything you need as he was helping me show me around and give me Map and was really nice really kind of him. nice place to go to visit. We really can't think of any negatives.

Our host Gary was top class. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast and piping hot too. Rooms were serviced daily. Short walk from the town centre and train station. If we are going to Scarborough again, we will definitely look to book the Dolphin.

It took a night or so to get used to the road noise, on a morning, but it was also a good alarm clock for breakfast!

Gary was the perfect host! The place was impeccably clean and breakfast was just yum! Would defo recommend a stay here :-)

We found nothing to dislike at the Dolphin.
