We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe upstairs landing light switch was not working. Not that it bothered me, but some people may think otherwise. Parking might be a problem for some people. Personally, I managed to find free parking ,but onthe last night I had to pay the extortionate rate of £1.70 for over night. 🤣
The flat was compact, comfortable, and clean . It was close to all town amenities.

The good thing is Vickie is aware of the problem and I’m sure will resolve the problem . We had an excellent stay at Doodle Den and would recommend it to others
The apartment was self contained,excellent facilities.It was as described on the website and it was immaculately cleaned.The furnishings were very tasteful and comfortable. The heating worked perfectly, which was appreciated as it was very cold when we visited. Great location and it was only a 20 min drive into Windermere.
