Car parking on arrival was chaotic - got last space at back luckily The bill at end of evening meal was complicated as we hadn’t been asked at start if we were on dinner package so waiter did not note it down so we had to sit and work out at end of meal what we had ordered so they could split bill with other couple we were with - asked if it could just be split and we were told no!

Location was excellent, room very nice with balcony. All staff were very friendly Late check out option was good as we didn’t feel rushed the next morning

The second room position/ size and the cleanliness of our room - dust on headboard, carpets grimey, wc pan cracked.

We booked 2 rooms ( supposedly of same standard ) however one room was not up to the standard expected.

Was a bit tired . Restaurant staff not particularly engagjng and shouting to each other across the restaurant. Most off putting .

Breakfast was underwhelming. Buffet a little limited. My hot food choice was eggs Benedict and it was only ok, didn't have much flavour.

Would have expected bath robe in a suite. Perhaps just an oversight and for one night it was no huge deal.

Suite was a great size. Evening meal was exceptional..perfect steak! Breakfast was very good. No problem catering for my gluten free needs.

Watched rugby match in the room before going to a party so a full mini bar would have been nice rather than empty fridge.

Staff found us a parking space which made a huge difference in the rain.

Excellent customer service in all areas of the hotel. Great location with very welcome private parking although not always guaranteed due to demand. Excellent breakfast & evening meal in the Bistro with vegetarian options. Very pleased with the room which included a large shower area & separate spacious lounge/TV area. Would not hesitate recommending to family & friends.

Not much hotel parking but you can pay in the bays directly out front and it was free after 6pm

Fantastic stay, super king bed was really comfy and the L'Octaine cleansing products in the room were a welcome surprise, very luxury. Breakfast was great and a nice selection on the continental breakfast with the granola yoghurt pots. Would definitely stay again

Nothing re the property but we were put in a disabled room which I do not have a problem with but as it was a special double birthday celebration when we booked I chose a deluxe double room and the bathroom also smelt of drains .

The hotel was in a great location. The staff were exceptionally helpful, great bar and the breakfast was excellent.

There was a fair amount of noise coming through the windows, which I assume were single glazed because there was a draft when stood nearby. The building the hotel is situated in looks fairly old, so I'm guessing it's a traditional feature. The noise from upstairs was quite audible too, but not sure what more the owners could do.

Room was much larger than we anticipated - we travelled with a 2 month old child and were made to feel very welcome. Cot in the bedroom was a nice touch for free. Our bathroom was spacious, the shower was great. The hotel lobby itself is really nice and stylish, well lit, comfortable. Location is great, we also paid for parking though so I'd recommend this as parking around Harrogate centre is tough. We got a drink from the bar and room service afterwards - our food was delicious.
