In my short stay there was nothing to dislike. I should have stayed longer Choice of restaurants was good

They were very interested in my visit and provided a great deal of advise in the short space of time that I was there. Close enough to Sandwich but away from the main traffic areas. You can rely relax there.

Nothing, everything was perfect

The house is worderful, amazingly decorated, clean and just a few minutes walking from the town. The owners Bridget and Andy are such a wonderful hosts, lovely and friendly people, they make our stay very easy. And the breakfast is just delicious. Highly recommended!

Such lovely hosts! They were both so welcoming and made our stay fantastic. The house is in a great location and easily walkable to the beach/ restaurants and the train station. Would very much reccomend!

We liked it all , we cannot work out how she makes enough monet from it because she was so generous !

Our room was beautiful and so tastefully decorated. In fact the whole house is so impressive but so welcoming too ! Our host Bridget was amazing, nothing was too much trouble . She made is a hot breakfast in addition to her continental breakfast and the yoghurt was sublime ! She gave us loads of information about the location and where to eat . An amazing stay !

Bridget and Andy are excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and Bridget was very helpful with suggestions and information. The location is very convenient and Sandwich is a very picturesque town. We had a lovely stay - and the weather was good.

We were made to feel so welcome by Bridget and Andy, they were fabulous hosts and so helpful. We had a fabulous stay at Dunearne Cottage and can highly recommend it for anyone looking for a home from home for their stay in Sandwich. The location is great: 5 minutes along the river to the town centre, 35 minutes walk to the beach

The room got a bit hot in the night - wish we'd opened the window a bit earlier and it would have been perfect!

Bridget was a fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was great (in fact, went above and beyond!) and the house was beautiful, fantastically finished with lots of lovely (and personal) touches. Great bathroom too!

Bridget & Tony were fabulous hosts - very warm and friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfect and we had everything we could possibly need. Beautiful & tasteful decor. Amazing breakfast personally cooked and a stunning garden to look out on.

Everything was perfect

We didn’t want to leave! Bridget and Andy were the most wonderful hosts. We were greeted with beers and homemade cakes, our room was so clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom, towels and robes, and the cottage itself is so stylish and homely. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating or helpful, even offering to drive us when we couldn’t get a taxi. Breakfast was also amazing, and Bridget even got up extra early to accommodate us leaving first thing. The highlight of this cottage (besides the hosts!) is the spectacular garden, where we throughly enjoyed a glass of champagne in the evening. We couldn’t recommend this Bnb more and we can’t wait to return!

The hosts are so welcoming. Bridget, our hostess, is flexible and obliging. She gave us excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to see/do. We loved the good coffee; both in the room and at breakfast. Not often does one get to have duck down bedding and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is lovely; a very tastefully decorated property.

The cottage has been freshly renovated and is even more smart than before. Bridget and Andy are simply wonderful hosts. I felt as though we were staying with friends.

Dunearne Cottage has a brilliant location for golf and the old town of Sandwich which is less than ten minutes' walk away.
