The food and drink were very expensive. The room I had was outside some kind of storeroom and so I had noisy trolleys moving outside from early morning.

It was a long way to get to the room, down one flight of stairs, along a corridor and then up 2 flights of stairs. it would have helped if check in staff had pointed out that there were lifts availible to these floors.

Lighting in room could have been better. The framed photographs everywhere were excellent, but some of the decor was very brown.

Service, parking, grounds, size of room, breakfast. Gym, sauna, steam room, pool all enjoyable. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond to make sure every request was met. Would stay again.

The main course was not good value for money on my first night, so I simply changed my choice to a more substantial meal. The room was too hot as there was no air conditioning and so asked for a fan which arrived and was perfect. There was no fridge or safe in the room.

I reception staff were very helpful with finding telephone numbers of some dentists in Norwich. Probably would not have been able to continue with my holiday if I had not been able to get an appointment. The breakfasts were good. The bed was very comfortable.

The furniture in our room was very worn and tired looking. Bathroom door was the same. Ripped net curtains.

The building was beautiful and all the original features. We loved the breakfast all good quality produce. The rhubarb. Juice was amazing, I’ve got to see if I can find some for home. Lovely big bed and very comfortable.

Room was tired, poorly stocked bathroom, with loo roll and soaps running out during our stay(we were there for 2 nights). There was limited tea and coffee in the room too - had to ask for more from reception. Room was poorly ventilated, and on one of the hottest weekends of the year, it made for an uncomfortable couple nights!

Room was very hot no air conditioning even with window open . Breakfast as above , wine very pricey and not great .

Breakfast the layout was very good , very busy some items not cooked correctly or Luke warm. Dinner was very good and location excellent. Pool was a good stress reliever.

The selection of dinners to choose from. At breakfast the window sills were dirty and full of flies where we were asked to sit. No vegetarian breakfast on the buffet had to wait 30 mins for vegetarian sausages. Should have had a wider selection of breakfasts to choose from disappointing. Staff very young with little hospitality experience.

Had a view over rubbish bins and service buildings. Very disappointing. Not helpful or friendly staff member at reception. Quite curt when she couldn’t find our reservation which had been made months ago even though we had confirmation number. I had to go back thru all e mails to find more information. Very annoying after a long day.

Close to Wroxham and Norfolk Broads. Lovely old building. Lovely gardens. Good food.Lovely staff in the restaurants and bars.

Room a little gloomy as window was small. Our room was on top floor. Bar also very dark.

Room was large and comfortable. Food excellent, lovely terrace. Good restaurant. Lots of free parking. Lovely setting of golf course. Good staff.

We enjoyed a game of golf, then took advantage of the spa facilities, followed by a delicious dinner.
