Cold pool Steam room not working Expensive and Very small car park spaces meaning that I had to park on the road which then meant that my car was damaged by another car ! Desk staff not very concerned with this to my surprise. Also quite loud music playing from somewhere close to our room in the building until early hours.

    Breakfast was satisfactory.

Strong smell of cigarettes throughout much of the building, especially the lobby. Parking limited and for an extra charge.

Restaurant was nice with lovely food and pleasant service. Pool was small but ok and liked the steam room and sauna. Room basic and small but comfortable enough.

There was no parking available to me, the facilities were quite dated and the cleanliness of the bathroom was lacking. There was a shortage of pillows and the duvets were quite thin. The pool was tiny in comparison to the photo and was overcrowded.

The staff were really friendly and the food was really nice

Couldnt find any play room. Also, would appreciate microvawe and small fridge as didnt have anywhere to heat up a milk for baby.

The size of our room was beyond our expectations as well as size of our bed. Our kids really enjoyed the free movement and also a swimming pool was a big plus.

Swimming pool looks bigger in the web picture . It was a bit of a disappointment but for us not a big deal also the windows in our bedroom all faced walls but as we were hardly in the room apart for sleeping it wasn’t a problem.

Everything ,would definitely stay there again . We had a great time ,lovely and polite staff. We were very happy with our family room ,it was warm and nice. The air conditioning was useful in the night. We had our dog Millo with us, he was welcomed too .

Bathroom smells mouldy, towels have seen better days. For the money, I'd expect good quality towels not old sandpapery ones. The Forest room, where they stick people with dogs for meals, is horrible. It's like an old isolation room, most unwelcoming, separated from the restaurant, not even a picture. Shocking actually.

Excellent location, beach front and shops a short walk away. The room was comfortable and modern. Breakfast is amazing! Pool etc a bonus. Warm, air con available. Staff lovely.

The pool area, while very nice, is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. Very carefully shot!

Nice room, good location and friendly, helpful staff. The £11 "book breakfast in advance" offer is good value too, and it's great to have the swimming pool and spa area.

The Sauna took ages to get even look warm and steam room was out-of-order. The pool is tiny, but clean and quiet.

It’s clean, comfortable, has an air-con unit which was lovely, and a bath. Lovely staff and breakfast was delicious. Close to beach and town, and so many restaurants within a stone’s throw.

Swimming pool could a bit more kid friendly. My 2 year old could not reach the bottom with his feet and I had to hold him in the pool. Could be a buggy and disabled easy access to the building. Had to carry the buggy with the kids up the building. The lift was too narrow with the double stroller. But the staff kindly allowed to use their storage room where we could leave the stroller over night.

The dinner meals at the restaurant was very well presented and tasty. The sheets and towels were very clean (no stain marks as sometimes found in the hotels). Staff were helpful We loved the connecting room (with bunk bed for the kids) and two bathrooms. Within walking distance to the beach. Shower pressure very good at the spa The breakfast lady was pleasant and kind.

At the check- in I was told straight away that I couldn’t check- in before 3pm, I have to leave and go back at 3pm. I felt like I just arrived but they wanted me to go home straight awa. I was taken aback. The guy was unnecessarily rude with me and I was too tired from my journey to say anything or question his attitude. I stayed tons of places in my life and even if I couldn’t check- in straight away, everyone was always so lovely, welcoming, flexible and supportive. Not here. That was around 12:30pm. I was so exhausted so I sat down at the bar. In the meantime others were checking in. I went to ask something then the same guy started mumbling about why he let others check- in (?) Never asked. The whole Reception was also weird with the payment and the breakfast too. I felt like they didn’t want me to pay or have breakfast??? I understand it’s more expensive if you pay for the breakfast on the day. Everything was the opposite of a good customer service. It also felt like most of the staff was new, young and inexperienced. The single room is TINY. I’m a smaller skinny person but still. I didn’t complain. I only asked them to bring me a light bulb- it was missing.. I asked them twice (morning, evening) and it still wasn’t fixed so out of the blue I got a nice and big room. It was indeed a really beautiful room. I was super happy, until it turned out that it must have been over the bar, so I could hear the noises ALL night (even around midnight). I could also hear the neighbours from upstairs (?) walking, running.. etc. You can also hear everything from the corridor. The hotel has lots of families with babies and kids so if you want to come to Bournemouth to rest- try elsewhere. The swimming pool is tiny and shallow and it’s mostly for kids. You cannot really enjoy a good swim in it. The gym was packed (even around 8pm) but looked pretty small too, so I didn’t go in. If you want a massage, definitely book in advance, apparently it was fully booked during my stay.

Great location. Nice English and Continental breakfast. No dairy alternatives though. One lady from Housekeeping was genuinely super nice and helpful (Karina ?)- 5* for her. Unfortunately the only person there who could smile.
