Shower could be temperamental occasionally & water pressure not high in the taps, but this is only a very minor inconvenience!

Took 2 rooms at the top of the hotel, which had quirky shapes from the slope of the roof. Plenty of space, fresh milk in the fridge, clean and spacious. Lovely breakfast! Easy walk into town and the front. Parking to the side of the hotel.

Stayed here a few years ago when it was a husband and wife team, and it was amazing. Now things have , the hostess was not very forthcoming, or her sister with the uncontrollable bull mastiff. Room was cold, shower not warm, windows rotting away, no tlc being given to the building. This lovely old house is going downhill fast because it needs a proper team again. The host himself is such a nice guy as well, which makes this hard to write

The entrance is a bit underwhelming, would be nice to have an entrance/welcome sign on the external door. But didn't affect our stay.

Breakfast was delicious and an excellent choice for my hungry teenagers too. The rooms were so lovely and spacious with beautiful bathrooms too. The host was very informative and helpful. Thankyou

Breakfast was very good and location was near to beach with path leading down from road also easy access to town shops east pier and the park all around a 5 minute walk with lots of places to eat and drink

The owner came into our room unannounced in the afternoon once while we were there, but didn't knock first so it startled us. I think it was to test that the toilet was in working order, so no big deal, but a knock first is always appreciated or better yet "do not disturb" signs made available for hanging on the door. :-)

At some accommodations I find the beds uncomfortable and wake up with a sore back in the morning, but this bed was very comfortable and I didn't have that issue. The breakfast was simple and delicious. The room was much larger than I expected and so was the bathroom with separate shower and tub. It wasn't noisy at all and my dogs only barked once when hearing a dog from a neighbouring room bark. The view was just average, I could only see a small sliver of the beach in the back because it was mostly obscured by surrounding buildings but mainly saw the back garden from the room. The location is a short walk to restaurants and the beach and made for a lovely holiday.

Nothing! Tho a stool/chair in the bathroom to put clothes on whilst showering would be useful.

Room/bathroom were excellent - clean, comfortable & cool! Bed was particularly comfortable, and the duvet just right - not too hot, nor too cold! The choice for breakfast was very impressive, although we only had cereal/toast - other guests choices were cooked to order & looked delicious!

The breakfast was DECENT, not excellent. I felt discriminated against as a smoker. Even though the property had a backyard, there was not even a corner set up with a chair and a small table to serve coffee and smoke a cigarette. I had to sit in the parking lot in my own car and smoke.

The only real issue we had was that in our room the bed was quite small,maybe a king sized bed would be better suited,other than that everything was fine.

The room was lovely and clean and matched our expectations,all of the staff were very friendly too.The breakfast we had was very good with plenty of choice.
