Would have liked some long life milk for tea as no fridge.

The only inconvenient thing is the location, because Oban does not have consistent sidewalks, but that is not something within the control of the owners. It is also near a bus stop and possible to walk into town, so as long as a person is prepared for it, this isn't that much of a problem.

The owners are extremely kind and understanding, and the house is charming. There is light breakfast every morning in a front room with a bookshelf, there is tea and coffee in the rooms, and the rooms have plenty of space for things not to feel crowded. What really makes it stand out is the owners, who went above and beyond for me during my stay, allowing me to keep my backpack in the house during a week-long trip and bringing it to me when I returned. They made my stay so pleasant and planning for that trip so easy that I would definitely stay there again if I were to go back.

Happy with everything.

Room was clean and comfortable, and in a quiet location of Oban. Continental breakfast was ideal for me. Owners welcoming and helpful. Hope to return in the future again.

I liked everything there was nothing not to like.

Staff was very nice location was close enough to town where you could go eat or go shopping very quickly. Harbor promenade was just a mile away wonderful location.

There's nothing really that I didn't like. The parking situation is a bit awkward, but only because its quite a narrow track to turn round on and late at night there's no lighting which makes it a little trickier, but it's great to have parking on site.

Elderslie is situated in a beautiful part of Oban just on the outskirts. It's surrounded by trees and a picturesque view and very quiet. It's about a 25 minute walking distance to the town centre which is perfect. The couple who own it are really lovely, so friendly and can't do enough for you. Also, unlike some places in Oban, they don't lock you out after a certain time at night, so you can come and go as you please. My room was beautifully decorated and well presented, very clean.

The owners are so nice and kind. They let me use the dinning room for take away food and even offerd me to use cultery and plates. The room was very nice and clean. The view from the window was really nice.

Wonderful hosts. They even came out in a downpour to help us park our car! Informative and friendly with dinner and travel advice. Well equipped, comfortable room with a good shower. Lovely garden area.

absolutely nothing at all , all perfect above and beyond .

Oh my word, spotless room , big bed for single person, ensuite , everything you needed in bathroom . Owners looked after me 100% with anything i needed . They toasted my bread for my lunch next day for my day trip .Very friendly.Felt very safe there and also where their bed and breakfast is situated is just off main road so very very quiet.Also Gerrard was there when you arrive to ensure all ok with parking . Very warm and friendly couple .

There was nothing we didn't like

Jocinta was really welcoming despite us turning up two hours early. Our room was big and bright and clean with wonderful views of the countryside. The shower was amazing. Breakfast was great, not too heavy, with a good choice of boiled eggs, toast, cereal, pastries etc. The dining room is bright with the same great view. Oat milk was provided. We were able to sit in the dining room to eat supper and plates and cutlery were provided.

No concerns

Well located - close to the center of the city. The hosts happily accommodated our 11 PM check in as our ferry arrived late at night. Convenient parking, Oban is not flush with parking.
