Some aspects are a little dated, some windows steamed and old wallpapers etc. But all purely cosmetic which can only be assumed would be renovated if they gained the funds

The hosts were great, the hotel is a brilliant option for its lower price tag as its far from unclean or thrown together. It is a well looked after establishment - I wasn't using the Pleasure Beach, but if you were, unbelievable location

shower in 26 very out dated and didn't work, had to use my friends shower in room 23, tv did work in 26 but it had no signal. towels provided were far too small big bath sheets are needed, door to room 23 needs a bit of planing struggled getting that open as it was hampered the new carpet.

lovely welcome from Jonathon and his gorgeous dog Nala. safe secure storage for our bicycles for the night and charging for two of the e bikes. excellent location. brand new carpets throughout and brand new lino in en-suites, the bar area is very modern. en-suite in 23 is very good. bed in 26 very comfortable. new mattress provided on request in one of the single rooms. nothing was too much trouble. ideal for groups to stay in. I like the decor too.

The lift was out of order but that's not picking

Location is close to the pleasure beach and two minutes from south pier. Street is set back from the prom so quieter at night. Rooms ample for a stay away. TV wasn't even switched on once. Bar and pool table downstairs and the host is wonderful such a pleasant and lovely man. If only more hotels had people like him. Will definitely be back

It wasn't the hotel I didn't like its the Town

The staff was friendly unfortunately I had to be reminded it was a no smoking hotel with my complex brain injury I do sometimes forget Wer I am it's medically proven I would like to take full responsibility for the first time I stayed I unfortunately I forgot i was at the hotel as I sparked a cigarette by 2 puffs I realised I was at the hotel and put it out I do apologise and take full responsibility for my actions and I do apologise my stay was nice and the hotel was comfortable with a family environment which is good because im a family man myself thank you for my stay all the best Aaron Windle

I had a few problems with the overall cleanliness of the rooms, just small things that required a deeper clean than provided. For example, i feel like the bathroom could’ve been cleaned a bit better as there were small hairs in there and a couple bits in the carpet that were missed with the hoover. I think some of the furniture could do with an upgrade just because we both had a broken draw on each side of the bed. Again that’s super nitpickey and for the price you pay- it’s to be expected.

Lovely staff, the guy running the hotel was very funny and great to chat to. We had some problems with the room being a bit too small and he happily moved us to a larger room (within the same room category). The rooms were as expected for the price you pay and honestly me and my partner were quite comfortable. Cleaner was friendly and helpful aswell as we needed more towels. Overall i’d give this an 8/10 experience. Ps. There was a very lovely seagull outside and if you see him be nice to him!

The initial greeting on arrival was somewhat cool. I’m not the sensitive type but it might bother some people. Wi-Fi didn’t work at all in my room. My gadgets could even receive the signal let alone connect. There’s no pillow protectors and the pillows are yellow-stained. There was no mattress protector either. Whilst the carpet seemed new there were 2 areas at the side of the bed that seemed to suggest someone had been sick and it hasn’t been properly cleaned up. Property description indicates soap, shower gel. There was none. I had all day to buy some if I knew. So I had to go straight out and buy some. Property description indicated aircon. There is none. These are all easy to fix details for new owners early to mid project and I wish them well.

The location is fairly good being close to Wetherspoons. The owners appear to be early to mid project with this place. Everywhere has had a lick of paint and my room seemed to have a new carpet. A kettle and tea and coffee are available in the room.

As Elite is quite is new & new to Booking, I thought they we're a little unorganised upon arrival into the room. I had to go to the staff member downstairs, three times within the first 10mins, realising there was no toilet paper or a mirror and no towels. The staff member was very good and informed me to tell him what was needed. There was no wardrobe, to hang clothes, I found five hangers in a small chest of draws. There was one mug but no teaspoon. The room still smelt of decorating and you could feel the dust from it. The extractor in the shower room was not working.

The entrance and small deluxe single room were nice. Very new place, with nice decor. Staff member was friendly. The room had a nice carpet and a very comfortable bed. The TV and remote control were simple and ideal with Freeview. The shower is electric, Triton, with adequate heat and decent power. The basin & tap are just outside the shower & toilet room, which I thought worked quite well. Medium size window with the top opening, overlooking the main road.

Not sure if the hotel is under a new owner or not but there is evidence of improvements being made the entrance for example is impressive. I only found two days before that I would need to stop over the night so it was a late booking so considering the time of year I was not the expecting the greatest room but I found it comfortable but basic (which was no problem for me) a comfortable bed and method to make cup of tea is all I needed. Also the fact the hotel had parking at the back for a small charge (much less than a 24hr in a car park) was a bonus

Being disabled no lift , Kettle think last guest had tried boiling eggs in it, didn't realise till my first drink but I washed it out then was ok

Staff very helpful, even when the door key snapped they resolved it immediately and took accountability. Thank you. Bar prices outstanding!!!!
