Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Changed room as not allocated twin as requested. Dbl beds are too small for a couple hence the request. Sorted quickly but shouldn't have happened.

Breakfast could be improved. Lack of sliced ham and cheese.
Friendliness and promptness of the staff. Location close to the Underground Station, 7min walking. Near some Take Away restaurants. Tesco very close to the Hotel also.

The hotel was welcoming and our room was very comfortable. The location is great, with easy access to bus routes and the underground is a 10min walk away. The breakfast was brilliant and had a lovely variety to choose from. We pre-booked parking for our stay and it was located just behind the hotel.

The building was not new as the receptionist mentioned but it was ok. The keycards weren’t working well.

Our room had one full size bed and a sofa bed, sofa bet not very confortable for adults. Very clean and well located for district and circle line underground, Earl´s Court may not figure in your go to places but it has its charm and easy to get thee direct from Heathrow. West Kensington and West Brompton stations a 5 minute walk from the hotel and from there very easy and fast to move.

Dear Management,I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your establishment. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations due to several issues that arose during my visit.Firstly, upon arrival, I discovered that the bathroom in my room was clogged, which caused inconvenience and discomfort throughout my stay. Despite notifying your staff, the issue was not promptly addressed, leading to further inconvenience.Moreover, when I requested a mere 15-minute extension for check-out, I was met with rudeness and refusal from your staff. Their lack of empathy and professionalism only exacerbated the situation.Furthermore, I couldn't help but notice a concerning pattern of discrimination during my stay. As an Indian guest, I felt discriminated against, especially considering the diverse community present in London.It is disheartening to experience such substandard treatment, especially from an establishment that prides itself on hospitality. I believe every guest deserves to be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of their nationality.I urge you to address these issues promptly and take measures to ensure that all guests are treated equally and provided with the level of service they deserve. We had a nice spacious room which would have been perfect with a kingsize bed.
Everything you could wish for at breakfast, even organic porridge. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Easy to get to by car and perfect car park.

Room space. For a family of 4 a bigger room should be allocated. Being in other Holiday Inn hotels i can say that other hotels provide much more comfortable rooms for families

We booked a twin but were given a double on arrival, which was changed straight away. Previous guests must have changed the TV settings to Spanish instructions and subtitles. The signal was also really bad, and the picture kept breaking up. The bathroom extractor was running all night, although couldn't be heard if door was kept closed. The included breakfast wasn't great. I had a cooked breakfast, the scrambled egg was OK, but sausages were low quality, and the bacon was like shoe leather. No wardrobe so couldn't unpack if we'd wanted to. No plug socket next to one of the beds. Didn't appear to be able to control the temperature in the room, was quite cold when we got in bed.
We were in the extra 'wing' away from the main hotel. It was pretty quiet. Bed was quite comfortable. Seemed clean.

Everything was great.
Rooms were comfortable- nice and cool at night. Great location close to tube. Staff were excellent, especially at breakfast entertaining our kids. Food at breakfast was great.

It would have been nice to be able to open a window. The room got a little bit stuffy even though we used the air condition.
Very friendly staff that made my daughters birthday trip even more memorable. We highly appreciate that she got a little birthday surprise and they where very helpful when we needed assistance and information about transportation. We chose this hotel because of the distance to Stamford Bridge, and we where happy to discover that it was an easy walk to the stadium. It was also easy to navigate our way to the city center and the nice shopping center, Westfield.
