The room was way too hot! We couldn’t adjust the room temperature and it seemed to be the same problem in all the rooms because we asked to change the room. The window could not be opened. We had just come back from Mexico and this room was the hottest we experienced in the entire vacation!

The hotel is perfectly situated for an early morning flight from stansted. The shuttle bus came on time and you could pay with credit card. We were also able to have an early check in which was really nice. The grab n go breakfast in the morning was really nice!

While breakfast is great for the on-the-go package, there wasn't much choice in sandwich making topings, which would be great for kids

Room was tidy, and excellent for the value. Liked that hotel was client oriented - essentials that hotel provides if client has forgotten them. Ironing board with the iron provided in the room. Shuffle from the airport every 15min(adult 4gbp for the trip one way trip, and until 16 free).

Comfy bed in a spacious room, didn't notice any traffic or airport noise (soundproof). Bathroom slightly dated but everything worked well including plenty of hot water. Generous buffet breakfast starting at 4am. The absolute best thing for us was the 24 hour shuttle bus, departing every 30 mins, and only 5 mins from the airport. It made our early morning flight extremely manageable and significantly reduced any stress we were feeling about arriving with time to check in and clear security. We would definitely stay here again!

While the room was clean and adequately equipped, I found it to be of average size, which was slightly limiting for family comfort.

I have visited IHG Hotels several times before, and this stay was consistent with the reliable standards I've come to expect. It was perfect for a night's stay with my family. The convenience of a shuttle bus (£4 per journey) from the airport, both upon arrival and departure, was particularly helpful. The room was clean and of an average size. Additionally, the responsiveness of the staff was great, especially when I requested a few bottles of water at 1 AM during my check-in. The breakfast was enjoyable, a good selection of items. The staff was exceptionally friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. It was a decent meal that started the day off right.

The room smelled of cigarettes which was a bit off putting. The pillows were a bit lumpy.

The shuttle bus was prompt and the driver was really helpful, the staff were polite and friendly and the location was good.

I think the airport shuttle bus is a rip off at £4 per person each way from the bus depot to the hotel when you can get the free bus to drop you over the other side of the roundabout a 1 minute walk to the hotel from the terminal

The Wi-Fi is almost completely non-existent. This is usually good in Holiday Inns but we had to go to McDonalds to be able to go online and check in for our flight. There was no option to purchase or upgrade either.

The location was great - it took only a few minutes to drive to our airport parking. There was a pool table in the bar which was great and the staff member we dealt with was very helpful.

The sofa bed was pulled out which wasn’t necessary. This wasn’t a problem as such but may have caused staff extra work. The coffee sachets were Nescafé, which is a brand I boycott due to their poor record with selling formula milk.
