Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe price was a bit high for how dirty the hotel was (the comunal spaces - coridor, lift, car parking, etc). Also, it smells like an old hotel from 1900s. The carpet, pretty much everywhere, is dirty and it smell awful.
Central location, friendly staff, parking space

IrelandBreakfast gets busy - really busy - on top of which there's a limited number of seating options so, it's very much possible to end up waiting a bit to get seated or even to get food as there's a queue. If you aren't too fussed about breakfast then eat out - there are a good number of cafes in the area and a lot more choice. I still recommend the hotel - would stay again but definitely will skip breakfast even though it's free.
Location is close enough to most of London's attractions plus there's a tube and bus stop close by. There's basement parking and the breakfast is great for the price. Accommodation is good - at least our room had all that we needed and despite being near a major road it was decently quiet so, thumbs up for the sound proofing.

United KingdomI had no complaints! The price had gone up since my stay last year, but was comparable with other hotels in the area!
I love the location as it’s near the river, the Tate Modern & the Bankside Gallery! The room was spacious & calming! There was a varied choice for breakfast and I was pleased when I was given some gluten free bread, as requested!

GhanaI would have had a great stay if they would have served variety at breakfast. At least serving boiled or Spanish omelette would have been better.
The rooms were tidy and welcoming.

ItalyRoom dimension + bed dimensions. We are a couple and we find the bed particularly small Breakfast might be a bit crowded during certain peak hours (there is not much space) but the staff made us aware of this when checking in so for us was not a major issue. The rooms was not equipped with refrigerator and there was not much space for storage / hangers.
The position of the hotel is extremely good. Close to Blackfriars (District) and Southwark (Jubilee) tube stations. The neighbourhood is also quiet and modern, within few minutes on foot you can easily reach Tate Modern, Borough Market and Shard. Breakfast is also rather vary but as an Italian coffee quality shall be improved. There are numerous bars (Starbucks, The Refinery) and there is also an Amazon Fresh nearby the hotel. Staff was friendly but not invasive, which we appreciated.

CroatiaThe fan in the bathrom was a way to noisy and there was no way to shut it down. Luckily we were too tired so it didn't bother us that much. The carpet in the room was in a very bad condition but the rest of the room was fine. The breakfast is ok if you're staying for a day or two, but for a long stay you'll run out of options.
Location is very good! The other things are just average.

United KingdomA little expensive but I guess we’re in central London. 🫤
Great location for us as we were booked to go mudlarking by Millennium Bridge. The hotel was very practical for us, extremely clean and all the staff were helpful and friendly. It was also great that they were able to store our luggage for us after we’d checked out so we could go off and enjoy our adventures for the day!
