The location is directly off the bypass which is super convenient. The views from the balcony on a sunny morning are a dream!

Shower was overly powerful when suitable temperature used. Bar closed at 11pm even though night staff on duty.

I’d booked a cheap room so I wasn’t surprised that it was in need of decorative work and updating. But a car park light located just under the window buzzed all evening and night. It totally illuminated the room. The mattress felt soft and worn. Not a good nights sleep.

The heating wasn’t turned on when we arrived and the room was freezing which didn’t make for a nice welcome. The staff on reception on arrival weren’t overly friendly. There were a few hairs on the bathroom floor. Would have been nice to have some water in the room.

Probably needs some slight upgrading although in line with the buildings age. Bathroom looked like it needed some TLC.

Friendly staff and helpful. Was ideal location to a wedding we were attending. Room was cosy and bed was comfy, was an old building so had character.

The hot radiator would not turn off, had to keep window open wide to cool the room. Such a waste. Cooked breakfast to order and personal teapot was good, the extras were sadly lacking. Very annoyed that every evening on our return to hotel the door key did not work, had to go down to reception (from the top floor) to have key reset. Told it was due to our booking being only 'set' for one night, despite paying for THREE nights on arrival.

Location was perfect for our needs which is why we chose it. Breakfasts were OK, nothing spectacular. Beds were comfortable

The TV remote had buttons for Netflix and Youtube, and for casting to the tv, but the tv wasn't connected to the internet so we couldn't use it, and there were only 5 channels on the TV. There were jets in the bath, but we couldn't get them to work. A fridge in the room, and plug sockets by the bed would have been a bonus. Also, it would have been nice if there were proper glasses in the bathroom, rather than plastic cups. It would be good to have an option for a later checkout too.

Beautiful location and room. The bath was extremely comfortable and there was a nice shower. I liked that there were 2 sinke. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was very nice. Staff were friendly, and accommodating to my boyfriend who is vegan.

Bathroom floor and around toilet very badly stained from probably a previous leak and bottom of bath panels in poor condition. Wouldn't have cost a lot to replace the vinyl flooring so pretty disappointed it looked so awful.

For the price you pay, bar doesnt stay open. Breakfast is overpriced and they have 'add water' orange juice. Would only recommend if there is a wedding near by

The door alarm went off if you didn't IMMEDIATELY shut the door - this was the biggest frustration- especially when coming back late from a Christmas party - don't want to wake other guests!
