Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Rather compact.
Good place for an over night stop. Very well equipped. Needs to say in the write up that there is a small fridge and a microwave.

low beam at the end of the bed can catch you by surprise, be aware

There was no beside light which made getting into bed from the light switch at the door some what precarious. The single bed was far from comfy. The noise from upstairs and the macerator., although nothing the owner can help, were quite disturbing. The booking.com said there was a dvd player and a trousers press and they were not there. It would be good to have somewhere to hang clothes.
The double bed was comfy. The lay out was ok. The key safe was a good idea. It was fine for an overnight stay. The local village was lovely

Rubbish under the bed couple of stains on quilt cover. Could do with a hoover so we can do it ourselves. Would be nice to meet staff incase of any problems.

A pretty and comfortable little village cottage divided into four self-contained units. (We had 3 of them). Findon itself is a small, picturesque West Sussex village, and 'Findon Rest' is located in the heart of it, with 3 'dedicated' parking spaces, which we were able to use throughout our stay. Two classic country pubs were within a stone's throw of the place. Given that we were staying in late December we were a little concerned about heating. However, we had no need to worry as the rooms were warm and cosy.

The property is a bit worn and the wi-fi didn't seem to work. Could probably do with a minor refurbishment

Some things weren’t clean for example, a plate was dirty within the clean plates, the single bad had a greenish stain on it and the place was abit to cold as the heaters weren’t the greatest.
It was nice and cosy, the bed was comfortable and it felt like just being in a home instead of a hotel.

Couldn’t get heating to work. Safe outside supposed to be locked with key in as we were provided with a code. On arrival safe was open and key was in door.
Perfect location for what we required. Room was clean and tidy.

Decor very tired, bed inaccessible from both side,everything cramped as if it were for 1 person not 2. Trailing wires and extension leads, cracks in paintwork and plaster,toilet lid had a mind of its own especially for gentlmen!. Dripping tape in bathroom and door didn't shut properly. Wooden steps to accommodation very slippery and parking for larger cars very difficult.
Location suited our purpose and bed was comfy.
