It was a bit dusty here and there, it would benefit from a deep clean and replacement of things that were broken, but it’s a budget accommodation so I wasn’t that fussed.

Lovely couple that run the place, they stored my luggage for me after I checked out. I had the top floor single room which was nice because of all the sunlight, lots of mirrors, and comfy sleep. Bathroom was clean and the self serve breakfast was sufficient.

A bit old and need some new paint carpet or laminate flooring, bed is ok. You hear every door on every floor closing and open. Bed sheet and new towels at least every other day should be good. Or setup a self service places to grab these and change diy is fine. Kitchen stuff not too clean and greasy.

Location is convenient mins walk to bus and metro; safe area and locals live, shared kitchen you can cook, laundry onsite as well, free breakfast, nice staffs. Good value for the $ you pay for London. It is not five star or even 3 star place so manage your expectations for the $ you pay.

There is no parking at the property and the residents' bays outside are permit only (or pay and display, maximum stay four hours) between 9.30am-5pm Monday-Friday; this is, of course, not an issue for anyone staying one night and arriving after 5pm (or even, say, 3pm if they are prepared to pay for a couple of hours) and leaving before 9.30 (check-out is 10am), or those staying at the weekend, but worth considering if you are intending to leave your car all day on a weekday and travel in London by tube (I think you'd need to be a fair distance away to find unrestricted parking, although as I arrived on Sunday and left at 9.30am on Monday, I didn't investigate alternative options). I would have liked more information on the check-in procedure before arrival. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but I did manage to sleep well. The price I had was very reasonable, but I did try to re-book for a later trip and notice that the price fluctuates quite wildly (the price was more than double what I paid), which is a pity, because this is the sort of accommodation I would like to use regularly (the property does offer a discount code against future bookings, however).

The location of Flexistay Tooting is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Tooting Broadway tube and an array of shops, cafes, takeaways etc. Check-in was fine, although I was expecting to receive instructions for a keysafe or something similar (given the type of accommodation this is), but I arrived, rang the intercom and was let in (although it took a while to get a response) by a very friendly man who gave me the keys. The room was a fair size, with a kettle, mugs, tea and coffee, as well as a table and armchair. and spotlessly clean. The shower was reliable, with excellent water pressure, although the door didn't quite close properly (however, this did not result in any leakage). The communal kitchen and lounge were also spotless and there are two fridges - one for the self-cook breakfast (containing milk, butter, bread, eggs, bacon, fruit juice) and another for food brought by guests. In addition to the fridge contents, there are also cornflakes available. I had concerns that the kitchen might be crowded at breakfast time, but I had it to myself. The wi-fi was reliable too.

The bed could be better, but for the price it was ok. Although there was an option for breakfast, I didn't notice any vegetable choices. But I didn't search for that extensively.

As a budget hostel (it was one of the typical houses from the row of houses often seen in London quarters ), it fulfilled even exceeded my expectations. After some negative experiences with similarly priced stays in London this one was really serious and satisfying choice. Staff was nice and even I came early they checked me in and allowed me to leave my luggage inside while the room will be ready. It was nice to have fruits to take on breakfast.

Clean room with good amenities, nice staff and quite a comfortable bed. There was a fan by the bed which is always a win as I always sleep with a fan (yes, even in Winter!). Great location, little Tesco is 3 minutes walk away, same with McDonalds and the busses. Tube station also a 7 minute walk.

The place could do with a new stair carpet but saying that it was hoovered.

I liked the fact that you could use the kitchen to prepare and eat food at whatever time you liked. This place was exactly as it was described. Don't expect the Ritz because it isn't but other things make up for it such as 24 hour access to a kitchen makes up for it.

The room was on the groundlevel (which isn't a problem) but the window only had blinds. Without them the neighbours could easily look into the room. I would recommend to install day curtains for more privacy. I didn't find any vegetables or fruits in the breakfast fridge, would have been nice to have that as an option.

A short distance from the metro station, 30 minutes from the center. The room was clean. The kitchen was equipped, the possibility of a good breakfast. Good price and good stay for a few days.
