Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe room was acceptable and quite big, bathroom equipped with a shower. The place was clean located not far away from local kind of high street where you can find nice restaurants and clubs. There's also a shared kitchen, supplied with basic items to make your breakfast. It's not gonna be an English one, but you can still have a nice one.

United KingdomWe were very unlucky to get the worst room in the whole house. It was small, the bathroom was tiny, the sink was in the bedroom, shower and toilet separately. It wasn't comfortable. I'm sure if we get different room our stay would be perfect as I really liked the rest of the facilities.
The location was good, with on street parking easy to find. The kitchen and free breakfast was a big plus.

Belgium- a bit smelly inside, old but clean room facilities - a bit of noise from the train station and neighbors if they are loud (use earplugs!) - a bit tricky if you need anything else but London Victoria, trips could have several changes and then sometimes long waitings (up to 30 min, since the train to Norbury goes every 30 min, with 5 pounds one-way ticket), not bad at all, just slightly tiring after a long day sightseeing, but the price makes up for it :)
- 5 min walk to Norbury station (train to London Victoria or London Bridge every 30 min, lasts around 30 min too) - relatively safe walk from/to the station, but not the prettiest neighbourhoods - private room with a hot shower, toilet, fridge, tv, wifi, and a kettle in a room, there was a window in my room with an inner view - multiple shops, and fast foods just next to the station/accomodation - all-day breakfast, with coffee/tea, cheese, bacon, eggs, milk, butter, jams, fruits, and bread, comfy kitchen with facilities to make your own breakfast, was kept clean all the time, was really pleasantly surprised and that made me rather like the accommodation

LithuaniaMy room was a bit small and it could be a bit more clean too.
The property is close by Norbury metro station, so since my business interest was close by I consider this as a good location. Self-service breakfast was included into price. Ironing set was in the room.

United KingdomNoise. I am a light sleeper, but my partner wasn't. It's not off the main main road, but enough traffic and motorbikes in particular that woke her. Someone stood outside our door and spoke aloud on phone at early hours in the morning for a while. She didn't wake me up because I would have gone ballistic as my baby was in the room. There seem to be some people living there who seem permanent and the hotel rules book suggested local area work. It felt a little like we were intruding on someone's home. There were people constantly in and out who walk through the ground floor property out into a large garden area to residential tenancy homes. Though they seem more friendly. There was no sponge for a day so people washed with their hands. There should have perhaps been backups somewhere? There seemed no staff in regularly. Overall it's still very convenient and these seem very fixable issues, so I give it a 6 for that weekend because of those things, but it could easily be more for anyone else's experience
It's clear it's good value for money. You have free food in a large fridge of bread, bacon, tangerines, apples, eggs, condiments, butter, milk and self cooking facilities which is rare. Living room is a few tables, large enough for three groups of 3-6. Unused much, properly because for at least our room there was a fridge, so people are inside their rooms. In addition communal fridge in living room/kitchen area unused. Parking for two or three spaces on property front. Seems unused. Train station nearby. Our room was big. Station was 5 minutes walk. Railway station does take you to stops to the underground and interchanges that lead to other underground. In London one journey is one price between the two. Easy to get to Brixton or Croydon (109 only, trust me) by bus. Travel cot provided for our baby.
