Kitchen was a bit tight in terms of counter space if you are cooking for a large group / family. Roads in NW Wales are generally easy to traverse and NOT full of pot holes ! but v slow indeed, lots of 20, 40 and 50 mph speed limits.

Fantastic Property - a lovely 20 minute stroll to the beach. The downstairs space is amazing, lots of space for all guests with wonderful views over the Welsh countryside. Bathrooms were clean and tidy and there is a games room with pool and fuzzball too ! Was within easy reach of the fantastic walks along the coast and Snowdonia is close by (nb book an early ticket if you want to go up on the steam train ! ), has oodles of Castles and Houses & Gardens to visit if you like that kind of thing.

cleanliness could have been better. lots of dust and cobwebs which we cleaned as couldn’t look at dusty surfaces and a number of cobwebs for the week. Could do with a deep clean. Dirty conservatory windows spoiling the view somewhat which we didn’t clean as thought this was a step too far since we were on holiday. Booked for 5 guests but only 4 sets of towels on arrival however a phone-call to the owner did quickly resolve this and the team promptly supplied an extra set of towels.

Location of the cottage is excellent, beautiful views, excellent facilities of full kitchen, washer , dishwasher, sun loungers and outside table , addition of the games room was fantastic for my two grandsons. excellent showers and plenty of hot water for 5 guests. Amazing Wi-Fi. The local peacock visited daily. It was lovely and calming looking over the rolling fields and sheep grazing. Great location for peace and quiet yet great to visit black rock sands and Porthmadog close by. Also took a trip out to Snowdon and the steam train to the top of the mountain from Llanberis. Criccieth also close by. Overall an amazing stay in a beautiful cottage in a great location. Would stay again though cleanliness could be be improved. Beds we’re comfortable and linen was clean.

The beds were uncomfortable and a little small, the quilt covers were to small, I would advise taking your own quilts and pillows if you book.

We were emailed a full description before arrival with clear instructions.
