    Nothing

The staff were friendly & accomodating. We needed an early breakfast, which we got. On our return, they had remembered we'd done a cycling trip & enquired bout it.

Vertical blind on window of bedroom needs replacing. Door window should be frosted for privacy as it is a ground floor outside door. Appeared to be a sunken area of floor in front of the armchair. Lovely bathroom with jacuzzi bath but electric shower over it extremely weak and cut out completely multiple times. Lacks a really good shelf for your things. A very minor thing.

Really excellent food and lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. We had a family dinner there for 8 the first night and that was superb. Very well kept property. Spotless everywhere.

The bedroom window had blinds missing which was a bit annoying as to have privacy you had to close the curtain which made the room dark. The radiator was behind the main curtain so you had to fold a full length curtain to sit on top of the radiator. There was no mat to wipe your feet on when you entered the room directly from outside which felt a bit dirty. The bath towels were very small .

The staff were very friendly and it was a clean comfortable hotel. The food was very nice and the main lounge was very cosy with a nice fire and decor. The breakfast was lovely and had all you could want. For our purposes the hotel was ideally situated. The bed was very comfortable. The rate for the room was very fair. Couple of niggles with the room which should be easy to fix.

Maybe some coat hooks in the room, but that’s the same in many places

Lovely room and the best breakfast, super friendly staff and excellent food in the restaurant, we enjoyed the Thursday nights with the local musicians playing

We live in Kent and have family in Scotland we regularly visit and this was our first time at this hotel. Really good value for money and lovely food. Breakfast was excellent! Some parts of the hotel were in need of a fresh lick of paint but considering it’s an old building it was very well kept. Our room was very clean however the carpet on the stairways were in need of a Hoover but there was some work going on in one of the rooms which may have been why. Overall we would most definitely book this hotel again.

Shower was hard to operate and didn’t stay hot (no instructions either). We had three beds and the rollaway bed was wildly uncomfortable. Other beds were good!!

Location about 30 min by car from downtown Glasgow. Adorable place. The nicest couple greeted us and there was a full English breakfast

If I was being really picky - The tiling down the tap end of the bath needs tidying up.

Warm welcome, shown to our room, comfy bed, staff attentive, but not overly so. Breakfast was tasty, my son called in and he was able to eat my breakfast, as I only have tea. All in all we feel we've found our place to stay when we visit family who live in Lennoxtown.

Really nice surroundings, plenty of walks for the doggies, room location was fab, straight out into the car park for the dogs, staff were super friendly and helpful, we took our dogs into the bar for our breakfast which was great, had an evening meal there and it didn't disappoint, all in all a lovely little stopover with a fab little beer garden in the sun.

The duvet was a bit heavy and warm so I had to keep kicking it off to get cool then putting it back on to heat up again. Not the hotel's fault but shame it wasn't a lighter tog quilt.

Comfy room (bed a little bit soft for me but very comfy). Room was excellent and clean, as was bathroom. All in all, excellent value for money. The staff, including the owner, went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and had a good stay. Breakfast was also yummy!

Some areas could have done with a bit of maintenance/ redecoration, but for the price point we felt it was very good value for money.

Fantastic food in the restaurant and a cosy, traditional bar area filled with character which was very popular with locals. Beautifully maintained gardens. Supremely comfortable room with jacuzzi bath, Sky TV and probably the most comfortable bed we had ever slept in! The staff were really friendly and professional.

Would have liked maybe a few more fresh choices at breakfast like scones or croissants but I am just nitpicking, it just would have been nice. I used to love the steak pie but now it is just a stew with a square of puff pastry put on top. Do they think we don't know the difference. I was very disappointed with that but the roast beef dinner was good. Ice cream excellent.

Lovely location, have stayed here before so no surprises. Very friendly staff who make you feel nothing is a bother for them. I did previously complain about the heavy doors but the hinges have all been replaced, good on them and nice to know they listened.

When we arrived with our 2 dogs I was told that they were not aware of the dogs, i sent them 2 emails about our dogs long before our arrival but this turned out not to be a problem. Black bed spreads were dirty. Cooked breakfast wasn't of good quality and vegetarian option was limited (instead of bacon and sausages you got a portion of beans) Toast was brought out long before the cooked breakfast did which meant the toast was cold by the time the cooked breakfast arrived.

Friendly staff, exceptional attention to guests needs. They were full in the restaurant when we arrived but catered for us providing meals in our room.. Excellent evening food Great selection of buffet food at breakfast The room was big enough for 3 adults and 2 dogs. The bathroom was amazing with a jacuzzi bath and it's own TV. Excellent Wifi You had to keep your dogs on a lead in the grounds but there is a great walk 100 metres from the hotel. The hotel have 2 cats but we only saw one and it never bothered our dogs but then our dogs are trained to ignore cats & farm animals.
