Bed was OK for one night. The breakfast was not available at 07:30 as advertised. Perhaps opened up 15-30 minutes later by which time I had decided to skip it. Curtains could do with being sun blocking. I was given a code to use to enter the building but upon arrival there was nowhere to enter the code. Fortunately when I pressed the doorbell someone arrived. In general an odd setup with "irregular reception times".

The room was small but clean. Good shower and bathroom.

Breakfast was a bowl of pastries and coffee. The floor covering was broken. At first we were on the 1nd floor but then it was changed by the manager and put on the 2rd floor.

Lock on door faulty, couldn’t lock. No duvet on beds, just ( very clean crisp sheets) and a thin throw cover. So in March that wasn’t warm enough, and no extra blankets etc in room.

Breakfast was poor. Coffee and tea cold, reheated in clear ordinary kettles- on display at main breakfast table to re-boil (as a normal electric kettle would) Rather dangerous as all the coffee boiled over the table.

The good location of the hotel and the cost of the hotel made it a good stop over spot for an evening. The room was clean and all basic facilities were good. It lived up to expectations.

No room service, shower was very slow. A pungent smell coming from water. Towels were not changed everyday. Bed was not bed everyday. The breakfast is really bad. There is nothing just a few breads and tea and coffee.

I couldn't get into the hotel ! I arrived exhausted at 23.00, having travelled by train from Berlin. The hotel's front door was locked and no-one answered the bell or knocker. There was an emergency telephone number on the door but no-one answered that, or the 3 messages I left. I could also not get through to Booking.com, which was extremely disappointing. I'm a 68 year old man and this was very stressful; for a lone woman or someone with disabilities, it could have been really disastrous. At the 4th attempt, I finally got through to the emergency phone number and was able to get in via 2 key safes. A great shame because everything else about my stay was very good.

Serious security issues, female traveling alone, no message sent re PIN code to access room after hotel was locked up for the night, female who answered emergency number said "this is not a 24hr helpline" of course not but its is an emergency number and I didn't have access to my room, which is an EMERGENCY, left standing outside for 50 mins late at night because she wouldn't answer my call. Had to get my husband to call from a different number for her to answer and give me access to my room at 10.30pm. Room was clean but bed very uncomfortable, no duvet, blankets which I presume aren't washed on every occasion was very uncomfortable. Shower fitting was broken and had to hold the spray to shower, reported this on my 1st day but nothing was done. Breakfast very poor and didn't eat there.

Radiator was stuck on full blast, must have been a faulty TRV, fortunately the aircon was working! The little TV in the room had no aerial lead so was no use.

They never pick the phone up and the answering machine was full for six weeks. When I was there the phone rang and the machine said it was full with the receptionist next to it. Very frustrating when you have important quetions

On arrival, we were given a key to a room that was already occupied. Security issue!?!? We returned to reception where we got a blank look and had to confirm her mistake. No password code issued for room. Still struggled to get on WiFi when we found the password. Serving of breakfast was haphazard 😕 UHT milk, we would expect fresh milk. No fresh fruit. No water served.

Unable to use the shower due to the nozzle not fitting right, and coming off every time you put the water on. Water pressure not great. Breakfast quite limited.

The radiator in the room was on constantly, and it was not possibly to turn it off or reduce the heating. I discovered that during the evening/night so i couldnt inform staff about it.

Get what you pay for, room was 7 feet square apx (room 6, i think), couldn't sit comfortably on the toilet seat due to close proximity of sink, and the shower didn't drain so couldn't have a normal length shower as would have flooded the bathroom.
