We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomInternet worked only for five days (stayed there for 13 days). No internet meant no TV. Asked the host repeatedly to fix this but some reason they could not. Bathroom sink minuscule.
Room small but functional. Quiet and cleanish. Washing machine / dyer real bonus. Mattress great (on the hard side). Easy access to transport.

United StatesThis is a beautifully appointed studio - washer, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, hair dryer, smart TV, wifi, calming neutral color scheme and decor. The keypad makes entry and exit so easy, no key pickup. Very clean bathroom and shower. The bathroom sink is tiny but functional. The one drawback was there was a funky odor that emanates I believe from the bathroom plumbing. It was not overwhelming to me, and opening the bathroom window and closing the bathroom door solved the problem. All in all, a lovely experience, just right for me.

Portugalhere wasn't much we didn't like, we actually enjoy our visit very much! Please note that if you want very quick access to London, the property is still 30 minutes away (for us it was ideal). The size of the property was the ideal (we didn't need much, it was perfectly enough). The only thing we can comment is about the size of the stove (only two burners), which was enough, don't get me wrong!
Overall, the experience for a couple is almost ideal! We stayed 6 nights in this studio and it was as good as we expected. Location - in terms of location, it is about 30 to 40 minutes from the center of London (catching the Picadilly line or the Greatern Northen railway gets you right there). It also has groceries around (10 to 15 minute walk). The neighberhood is calm and we didn't experience any noise or other problems. Property - the size is ideal for a couple: the bed is pretty confortamble and it is high (which is good!), the TV is amazing (you can be cooking or sleeping that you can see the TV); the kitchen has the basics that what you need (a stove and a hoven, a pot and a frying pan and a fridge) - yes, it can be a little limited, but it gets the job done; the bathroom has an amazing bath, but a rather small sink (not that you need a bigger one, tho); the closet was enough for everything we had (and we stayed for 6 nights!) Host - the host responds very quickly, is friendly and concerned Cleaning - the property was perfectly clean, all the furniture, the bed was made, the dishes were clean, etc. Extras - be aware that you will have to pay a deposit regarding water damage; there are no keys to the house, access is via a code on both doors. Therefore, we certainly highly recommend this property.

CroatiaThere was a moldy smell in the apartment. My clothes smelled as well when I got home after the trip. Heating in the apartment is working but not really on the level to heat the whole room and that's why there's a musty smell.
Location was good, and the price as well.
