A family run B and B which is situated close to the Railway Station and the Cathedral and good food.

They are working hard to improve their facility.

The hosts were very accommodating. The location was perfect. We went to Canterbury for its historic past. The Cathedral was an easy walk, The recommended Restaurant was ideal for dinner. The Izzi Italian restaurant had wonderful food and excellent wait staff. The Band B had a very extensive variety of food for breakfast in a pleasant breakfast room

The place is dated and in need of restoration. Health and safety concerns with wires and doors not locking properly. Noisy at night with abode hotel deliveries and collections in middle of night. Too much on one staff member- seemed a bit unfair as he was doing everything! Shower didn’t fit in its holder- bed was not very comfy and no lighting outside to let yourself in at night.

The breakfast was ok. One person running everything and he worked so hard. Location perfect.

The fact that there was no parking could have been better announced. They then recommended a very expensive parking lot. We found a way cheaper one, still a walking distance away.

The location was the biggest benefit for us. It was also a good stay for the money we paid.

Rivght in the centre of Canterbury. The manager is a great person.

The OWNERS of the hotel need to spend some money to make some improvements / carry out renovations properly - especially in the bathrooms, as well as provide the manager with money to make urgent repairs, eg to toilet seats.

The manager was very kind and friendly and worked hard to make us feel comfortable and welcome in the hotel. The hotel was in a Central Location 50m from High St in Canterbury, about 10 - 15 mins walk from Canterbury West Station. The building is a 16th / 17th building with steep and narrow stairs. If you are not willing to carry your luggage up 1-2 flights of stairs, then I recommend finding somewhere else to stay (and good luck) The manager made sure that we had everything that we wanted for breakfast and saw us out when we left the hotel.

Some minor fixes would make this place so much better but right now it just feels a bit run down. Everything is a little bit broken or cheaply put together. They should probably also forget about breakfast. It was bad. I’m probably the easiest person to please when it comes to breakfast. I just want coffee and anything halfway decent to eat. This was really disappointing. The coffee was instant and self-serve. The bread for the toast was poor quality. The cheese and meats were awful and not offered in generous portions. With all the excellent breakfast choices so close by in Canterbury, this inn would probably be better off not offering it at all. It lowered my opinion if the place — by a lot. Instead they should put some money into improving the fixtures in the bathroom and shower or getting better locks on the doors. Even the tv remote was taped together. It’s such a great building and location but the interior is disappointing.

Fantastic location. The bed was comfortable and the heat worked.

Room was cold - but remediated when the manager brought up a replacement heater. Beds were not comfortable.TV was fine after re-tuning. Breakfast was very disappointing, okay it was to a budget but a continental breakfast is usually better than this. Parking - the hotel has np parking and overnight in Canterbury is expensive. We booked a parking very close for a really good price via Just Park.

The hotel is wonderfully situated in the centre of Canterbury. It's a budget hotel and we did not have very high expectations. However, the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Overall, the place feels a little tired but, for one night, it's absolutely fine. Free.e Wifi was a bonus

At first all looked good until you notice the little things like double bed was two single beds of different heights, plugs by bed didn't work, shower head needs changing and worked shower controls with a bolt, mould in bathroom, furniture very dated ,tape around bathroom ceiling rose holding together would be really nice if all sorted out.

Location to Canterbury cathedral, didn't expect continental breakfast and good size telly .

Room too small (kept banging bathroom door on bed to get in bathroom), chewing gum in the lamp shade by the bed, flys in the main light lamp shade and a big chip out of the toilet seat

It is down a dark road. The front door is locked and the external light was not on. We knocked on the door and there was no answer. We rang the phone number and had a very confusing and frustrating conversation with the staff who didn’t understand me when I said I was stood outside in the pouring rain with my young daughter and wanted to come in and check in. We were eventually let in and the staff were very kind and profusely apologetic but it wasn’t a great start to our stay. When we checked out the next day we saw that there is a doorbell and notice on the door but it is not visible in the dark because the light that’s adjacent to the door was not turned on.

It was in a convenient location for my visit. The staff we met were kind and attentive. We slept well, the bed was comfortable.
