The lockers in the spa are very outdated and have either no key or not pin to keep it safe on your swimwear. They are also very stiff when locking or unlocking. There was also no shower head in the main pool shower by the sauna. The sauna was also unsafe, I cut myself on a piece of wood and then the following day it was out of order as the wood was missing. So I assume this was unsafe.

Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff who always go above and beyond. We were left birthday cakes and a card and complimentary upgraded on our room. This just made our stay 10x better! We love this hotel and have visited 8 times in the last 2 years. The spa is amazing very clean and great facilities.

Our room was only half cleaned, left standard basics and half made bed? Super strange. There was a bad sanitary smell for part of our stay which was off putting.

Lesiure area could have been a little better, maybe cushions on Loungers and a few more as there were only six in total.

Amazing stay at Grosvenor although leisure facilities could do with a little update and more lounges. Although room, food, cleanliness and surrounding area made up for it. In my eyes this is a 5* hotel and for the price I could not knock it! Definitely be visiting again. Thank you all!

Room was very noisy this time. Could hear every movement outside the room which was not great at 7am we wanted a relaxing stay for my husband’s birthday and this wasn’t great .

We have stayed here quite a few times and love the hotel that’s why we return for special occasions and have recommended it to family and friends.

Booked Palm Court, room and pianist lovely, menu bit limited and pricey for our choice, think prefer menu in Nelson bar, had drink in Nelson bar after meal, Gin and tonic and a pint of lager £18.80 !!!

Everything clean, staff attentive, couldn’t do enough for us even though they were setting up for a wedding the next day. Spa was really nice. Hotel food and drinks spot on. Definitely would stay again.

Unfortunately the pool was not good if you have a disability the last step getting into the pool was too high for me to get down from and too high to get up from. The changing rooms were very dated and the seating was very low the showers had no real privacy and nowhere to hang or put a towel not even a bottle of shampoo. No disabled changing room or shower .

Did not like being charged full price on Credit Card when booking in. Especially as we had prepaid. Only spotted later when I checked my credit card online. Staff had to reverse payment and it took 5 days to come off effectively eating up my credit card balance. Surely they should know you have prepaid and only charge an nominal amount so they can charge you later if you pay for other things ie evening meals. Cost of meals a little on the high side.

Breakfast was excellent large range of food available although lacking if you are vegan. Health spar facilities good. Bed was very comfortable. Easy access to Wrexham and Chester.

Nothing really as it’s a nice clean, warm hotel.

It was an impressive property and the staff were helpful and friendly. As we were staying for 5 fairly expensive nights, we expected a nice room, as most guest are only booking for 1 or 2 nights it seems. However we had a broken sink plug and an awful view from the window. We asked to change our rooms which was done but a bit of a nuisance repacking and unpacking again.
