The rooms at this hotel are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, plus the bathrooms - all of a very high standard. Staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. The views from the back of the hotel are outstanding, overlooking the stunning Welsh countryside. Both the bar and the restaurant make for a very enjoyable evening. Highly recommended, especially their frequent packages.

Some of the breakfast food was not to my liking. But the staff happily let us switch it out. Beds were very soft also.

We should have stayed an extra night

The hotel was in a picturesque setting overlooking the estuary at Cardigan Bay. There was sufficient easy carparking and check in was efficient and friendly. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped with stunning sea views. We arrived quite late so had limited time to explore the area that evening having booked a table in the Flat Rock Bistro. Quality of food and service was excellent and good selection of drinks. Breakfast next morning was very good with decent selection to suit most tastes. We did local Parkrun at Teifi Marshes so had to rush a little but still thoroughly enjoyed. Great value and we will definitely be back!

Returned both evenings at midnight, we were attending a wedding at the Cliff, walked straight in to reception, in to lift and up to our floor with out being asked or seeing anyone. Only locked door was our room door. Bar area was unlocked unattended and accessible. Found it unsafe and dangerous.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

When we arrived we were very disappointed with the size of our room. My partner had a word with a lovely lady called Tracey. She said we could upgrade to the executive suite for an extra £60 which we did and it was excellent.

I can honestly say that there was nothing we didn't like here. Everything was fabulous.

Loved everything about this place. The staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. Very professional and you could see they were all working as a team. The suite was beautiful, super comfy bed. Beautiful views. Great coffee machine. Loved having a fridge too. Breakfast was outstanding, there was so much choice. Really good to see pastries individually bagged and not just all out in a pile. Full cooked breakfast was served quickly and of super quality, made for a great start to the day. Evening meal in Flat Rock bistro was excellent. Bar prices were good too with plenty of choice. First time for us to visit and will definitely be returning.

Noise from other surrounding rooms at points of the night and in the mornings like creaky floorboards. Some soundproofing would have made it perfect. Also on our 2nd day we requested our room to be made up. Certain things like the sink had not been given a wipe down in the bathroom but this didn't bother us too much. Would return again.

Lovely 2 night stay. Very good location next to the sea so there are beautiful costal views both from the hotel and when out walking close by. Poppit beach is a quick , scenic drive away and we enjoyed a lovely stroll along the sands. Cardigan is just a few miles from the hotel with a variety of local shops as well as plenty of places to enjoy a bite to eat and drink. The food at the Gwbert is absolutely outstanding and was probably the highlight for us . As a result we booked to eat dinner at the Flatrock Bistro on our 2nd night too. Breakfast also delicious both mornings. Staff were always friendly and generally very attentive. We felt it was the right balance of being left to realx while feeling looked after and valued as guests. Beds comfortable.

We found our stay very relaxing, beautiful views and the hotel food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and gave us excellent service. We only stayed one night and wished we were able to stay longer but, will definitely go again.

We couldn't find too many attractions in Cardigan.

We chose the room with the sea view and the view was spectacular. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, and I have attached photos(my breakfast was vegetarian). We also had dinner at the hotel, and it was delicious.

Price was a little high but we didn't book until the day, I did look a few weeks before and it was cheaper. We stayed in room 2 and the lamp did not work
