Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bathroom/Shower Room was very small - the extractor fan doesn’t seem to kick in when needed, leading to us setting off the fire alarm.
Room was a reasonable size, good location and they offered a free luggage storage facility

Room was tiny. No room to dry off in bathroom. Didn't notice in booking info that there was no lift and i was on the 4th floor. but my bad!!
Location wasperfect for my trip.Room was tiny but very clean and modern.Bed comfortable.Breakfast was good value for money.

The single room is very, very small, but it was fine for me, just to be aware of if you book a single room. I stripped the bed when leaving to make it slightly easier for cleaners and noticed the mattress was very stained and must be quite old, it didn't affect me really but perhaps time to invest in a few new mattresses.
This is a nice little place very close to London Victoria stations. It was nice from an aesthetic point of view and I was lucky that my room had a view of the London Eye and Big Ben. The facilities are decent with a kettle and a functioning TV and wifi. It was ideal for my 2 night stay in London. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I couldn't locate my kettle but they helped me find it (an essential for any Brit!!). It was a great location and it felt like a safe street which as a single female in the city alone was important to me. There were plenty of shops, pubs, places to eat very close by. I was in London to spend a day in Surrey on the Friday but as I live north of London, didn't want such a long trip early in the morning, so it was great to stay somewhere only a 5minute walk from Victoria train station. The TV worked perfectly so I could relax with Netflix in the evening. I often find hotel's wifi to be a bit rubbish and not connect well with the TV but no issues.

Logistically, it's important to note that there's no lift, so it's not very suitable for people with mobility difficulties. Honestly, the biggest disappointment for us was the breakfast. The selection was very limited, and the only freshly prepared item—slices of toasted bread—had to be requested. Coming to the UK and not finding a traditional breakfast with bacon and eggs was quite frustrating.
Great location—convenient to the metro and centrally located. The room, although small for three people, was clean and comfortable!

Arrived late due to the tube strike, so some snacks other than crisps available
The room was clean and comfortable with a great shower. The staff were efficient and friendly. The hotel was well situated , close to Victoria station and bus routes.

No lift, which perhaps was on the website, in which case I missed it. Fine if you have light luggage but a challenge if it is a heavier load. Be aware of this and ask for a lower floor room if the absence of a lift is likely to inconvenience you.
