We had cabin 2. Property is located in a area with stunning views and full privacy. In under a minute from the cabin you reach the shore where one can see seals and sea birds (also from the cabin where John has left binoculars for one to use) It is incredibly quiet and peaceful. The cabin is equipped with all one needs including cooking facilities. John is very friendly and enjoyed speaking with him, as is Karen. John is a fisherman and if you inclined for some seafood (lobster crab etc) do tell him. I would not hesitate to visit this cabin again in the future.

It was the perfect little cabin to stay, great amenities (little kitchen, great views, nice clean cabin and bathroom) and a great center point for all the things we wanted to do on Skye!

Could do with some storage for clothes but if you don't living out your bags for a couple of days it's OK.

Nothing…. Was a fantastic stay

Had everything we could need, just like home! Comfortable, warm, clean and great host. Fantastic views of seals swimming and lying on the rocks. Storm Floris decided to join us during our stay and our host checked in on us to ensure we were ok and see if we needed anything. They kept us up to date with the Storm, when power would be restored and just anything that they could.

The potholes! 😀 But they're everywhere on the Isle of Skye, so be careful.

The cabin had everything you needed plus peace and a beautiful view. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The washing machine with a dryer. Binoculars. Every time I turned around there was some special extra to notice. Truly a gem.

There isn’t a place to put clothes. Would have liked shampoo and body wash. I didn’t know to bring my own.

The cabin was super clean and well stocked. The view was spectacular.

Combo microwave/oven a bit complicated for us!! Water tasted a bit odd! Shower towels could be a bit bigger to wrap round yourself. All minor points as overall it was a lovely place.

View was amazing. Takes a while to get to the property down a bumpy lane but worth it. Cabin was lovely, had everything you need. Bed and linen superb. A great place to stay. Did I mention the view!!

Booking said there was an oven but it was actually just a confection microwave oven - wasn’t ideal but made it work. There was no extraction fan which meant we set off the fire alarm every time we tried to cook.

This place has everything; the view, the location, all of the facilities inside. Couldn’t have asked for more, everything has been so well thought out even the thoughtful supplies in the fridge left by our fantastic host John.

Location was a little isolated but worth the drive to get there if you can afford the extra few minutes each day

View is great, nice place to rest after long day of drive. Place is clean and owners were really helpful with their instructions.

The location was perfect! A beautiful view out, quiet little beach area with picnic table to watch the local Seals. John was so very friendly, but also gave us privacy too, a perfect balance. The cabin was toasty warm even though it was windy and cold outside. The ability to wash clothes was a huge bonus for us...and a pair of binoculars to gaze out.

The property and location were brilliant. Even with all of the rain we had an excellent visit and definitely recommend. The host was on hand to meet us and also there when we left. There was milk and orange juice upon arrival which was a bonus, plenty of tea and coffee (including decaf, which not everywhere thinks of).

Great cabin, amazing view. During low tide, you can see seals from the bed. Great kitchen supplies like sharp knives, high quality pans and pots in appropriate size and amount (which is not that common in other accommodations). Relaxing and quite atmosphere.

Everything was perfectly clean and all the equipment provided (towel, kitchen facilities, even flip flops or hair dryer…) The views were stunning and the cabin was very cosy.

The cabin is fabulous! It is so comfortable and has everything you need. I loved waking up to the sheep and lambs right outside the door.
