Great location and Character, food needs improving.

Food can be improved. Fish main was limp and needed better seasoning, there was not many al la carte dishes to prepare as most people were aiming for the Sunday carvery. The sea food cocktail starter was very bland and again lacked a sauce and seasoning. Breakfast eggs royal was okay but eggs overcooked and wife had the same dish, eggs were cooked well but arrived cold.

Location and character of the building and features excellent. All areas and room clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice to walk in and from the grounds.

We were a group of friends meeting up for a reunion. We had Sunday lunch in the Tythe barn and then all stayed overnight. Staff were friendly and very accommodating setting aside an area in the restaurant for us to spend the evening together. Our rooms were comfortable with everything that we required. The grounds are beautiful with lots of quirky features to explore and walks to enjoy. We will definitely return.

The room and ensuite was quite small, basic and dark and hadn't been updated for a while. The mill isn't easy walking distance from anywhere else to eat, drink or explore so options are limited to the site.

Staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us, especially Ann who offered to give us a lifet to collect our broken down car! Food was excellent, though only one veggie option for dinner so I had to eat the same thing for 4 nights ( thankfully it was delicious). Everyone loves dogs which my dog was very happy about. Pub was closed when we were there which was a shame. It looks like the photo's.

The approach is along a track with old classic cars and commercial and military vehicles awaiting restoration. These would be better stored under cover and out of sight as makes one think that one is in a scrap yard.

Good choice of breakfast and excellent food. Dinner was very good. We had a lamb rump the first night which was so good we had it the second night too! Room was is the main building which was a magnificent building with great views over the adjacent fields. There is also an incredible, enormous tithe barn built out of the local yellow ham-stone which is used for functions. Extensive grounds and river.

The bathroom in Pine View, it was an adapted room and it had a wet room and got very wet after a shower but I can imagine perfect for a person using a wheelchair etc

Excellent food in the restaurant, dinner and a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning, along with the sunday papers to read! The restaurant/bar has a lovely cosy, light feel to it and we enjoyed a cuppa of tea in there when we first arrived. The staff were very friendly and were very accommodating when we asked to have an early supper as well as allowing us to check in early as the hotel was not busy this weekend.

Lovely room on ground floor as requested but had a inch gap under door that led to a corridor that had a door which also has a inch gap so was very cold, heating was not on until 4.30 in the afternoon nd as it was cold and wet outside was quite unpleasant at times, last day was better when we mentioned it to staff.

Room - was a little tight with furniture against the door when it was opened, from the look of it, it was a wheel chair friendly room with a ramp to the room and wet room .

Dinner - for us not a lot of choice, however our meal was superb. Breakfast - so much choice .

No problem with the room which was separate to the main building but might be awkward if it rains when you want to have dinner or breakfast. This would not put us off.

Made the booking to be at an 18th birthday party. A quirky location but terrific food and excellent service. Very friendly staff. Our room was in a separate building to the main building but large and very cosy. Rustic furnishings but a totally modern and spacious en-suite. Plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast menu and efficient staff. Would definitely stay again.

There was no facility to hang overcoats other than on the back of the single chair provided. Simple coat hooks would be sufficient!

No Wi-Fi, and no signal in our room. Fine for one night but may have got annoying for longer. The pub didn’t serve many pies or ciders despite being labelled as such.

It was great to return to Haslebury Mill - we booked a superior room this time around and it was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Staff were outstanding, and both breakfast and dinner were very good indeed - the best "full english breakfast " I have had in a long time.
