I couldn't get any hot water in the hand basin but the shower was great. One staff member never smiled!! The seats in the breakfast room were not very comfortable.

Although small, the room was very comfortable and very clean. The location was great, nice and quiet with lovely view of the square garden. Breakfast had a good choice of foods and the coffee was good.

The location is superb, underground tube station right around the corner but without the buzz of the high street or main street next to the station. Excellent architecture, convenient late self checking (Digital). Staff was very helpful and I would stay at the same hotel again.

The selection for breakfast was limited. I would have appreciated some kind of bread or rolls and not just toast or sweet options. Also, breakfast finished at 9.30am already, which is quite early for us.

Both, my husband and I had the best sleeps ever!! Such a comfortable bed!!! Room temperature was perfect, too (hotel rooms are often too warm). Location was perfect! Beautiful and quiet side street only 2 minutes walk from Earls Court Station.

Elevator goes to the fourth floor and my room was on the fifth floor. Very steep steps to my room which was number 43 on the fifth floor. Tv channel selection was minimal with several channels dedicated to commercials only. Best night to watch tv was only on Sunday nights. Shower was small, like a phone booth.

Breakfast was good. Meat and cheese provided for sandwiches. Location very close to Earls Court tube station. Room was small but functional. Having a small refrigerator was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I didnt expect room would be so well designed, everything was considered in design. Small lighitning on the ceiling made room ambiance. We stayed in twin bedroom. It was clean and large. Nice view from balcony. 2 min walk to Earls Court station. All groceries are on the main road which is just 2 min walks from the hotel. Friendly staff. I signed for loyalty program for the next time I would definitely stay there.

My card was scammed before l arrived and l was charged the full reservation rate.The manager was v unhelpful and blamed booking.com.She was not sympathetic and refused to offer any goodwill gesture -not impressed with their service.

Safe was a disaster,impossible to use and positioned on the floor in darkness.otherwise room was comfortable and nice shower.Continental breakfast was adequate.Hotel in good location.

When the rooms were cleaned all the old bed linen was just left all over the corridor's and the stairs making falling down the stairs as possible risk. It would also have been nice if the breakfast staff had a bit more interaction with guests on the first day.

Location was good for access to the centre of London. Reception staff helpful. Excellent price self service breakfast.

The windows are not soundproof and the walls are so thin that you can sometimes hear the neighbors. The breakfast was a bit boring on the 3rd morning.

The main problem was the cold temperatures outside that caused a lot of drafts indoors and cool air (mid-January). The heater wouldn't work at some point and it became really cold everywhere inside. Due to how old the building is not much they could have done. But it is disappointing. So if you plan to stay there in the wintertime when the temp is very low - here's your warning, bring warm PJ's :) the minor things like TV that didn't work didn't bother me that much but would be nice to have a heads up about it.

The location is great, super close to Earl's Court station. Very quiet at night. Clean and tidy. The staff tried their best.
