    Nothing.

Everything. It was peaceful and relaxing. Exceptionally clean. Everything in the lodge had been well thought out. The hose outside for the dogs paws was wonderful

The spa/swimming pool changing rooms are horrific. Worse than a grubby leisure centre. One of the shower drains was blocked when we were there and I witnessed the receptionist trying to unblock it with a pen whilst loudly talking about how gross it was.

The Manor House was lovely, the food in the restaurant was so good. We loved the feel of the place. We played Bowles out the front, the grounds are beautiful

Great for the discounted out-of-season price we paid. Would think twice at regular pricing.

The restaurant menu was a bit average for the pricing. Lodge suffered from a large number of flies in the main bedroom. Frustrating and time-wasting issus getting the TV, heating and cooker hob working.

We liked the park, the lodge and the site facilities

Everything was brill - place, location, room, cleanliness, comfort, food. The only minor downside is the cost of food and meals - felt very expensive. But otherwise, all brill!

Virtually nothing. We miss the old golf course, but understand the hotel has been remodelled.

We loved the room with its amazing view and the ambience of the hotel. The breakfast, as always, is superb. We valued the choice of different styles of dining and particularly loved the Devon View Restaurant. Food was excellent as was the service, from staff

    Lovely stay in the countryside!

The location is amazing, the Manor House is great and we really enjoyed having tea in the Morning Room. The staff was friendly and very attentive, especially in the restaurant. There is an excellent amount of activities to choose from, so it's hard to get bored even on a rainy day. The spa facilities were great, the food was very tasty and our room was cosy and very clean. Very useful app that lets you track the activities for the day! The only thing we didn't get was the complementary glass of fizz we were supposed to receive at dinner when we pre-booked, but we didn't mention this to the waiters, so that's also our fault! In no way has this affected our experience.

Fantastic all round, staff were helpful and friendly. They provide a map of the facilities which is clear and a list of activities that are available. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, with a glorious view over the countryside - I also went to the gym (I know!) which was well equipped and also had a fabulous view - will definitely be back and staying longer

The pool area is very nice but only one lounger next to jacuzzi. It would be nice to have a row of beds available to sit on and relax when not in the pool, jacuzzi, steam or sauna. The bistro was not open so limited of where to have a drink or snack after spending time at pool complex.

The resort is very impressive. Rooms comfortable and clean. Breakfast delicious with lots of choice.

A little expensive (meals and drinks etc.) but to be honest only be a couple of pounds here and there. Would have liked the option to just take tea and toast for breakfast rather than the full shebang. The weather was poor, but that is hardly their fault!

Nice location - lodges looked really nice, we stayed in a standard room. This was clean, well equipped and a decent size. Bed was comfortable. Quiet during our whole stay (2 nights). Leisure facilities (games & activities) and swimming pool very good. Gym quite large and well equipped. Grounds are lovely. Food is good in on-site pub but best of all.... The staff. They could not do enough for you at meal times, in the bar, from reception..... They were helpful, polite, friendly and very accommodating.

Foid & drink in the restaurant are a little expensive. Good food but drink prices very, very high.

We arrived to an upgraded room. It was a decent size with a comfortable bed, sofa and great views

Nothing to be honest. It exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended

This property exceeded my expectations. We stayed in the Manor House which was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The Cellar Bar & Restaurant is architecturally pleasing, warm and inviting. Staff were attentive and personable. We were staying just the one night as part of a travel stopover, so did not make full use of all the facilities. we did walk arounfd the lovely grounds and play some of the many varied games in "The Hub". We had lunch the next day my family and their dog and all was great. Service was very good. Also just a 5 min walk from the local pub which won North Devon area pub of the year in 2023!

A reading light/lamp missing in the bedroom on the side I slept. A reading light could easily be fitted to the outside of the Waldrobe. I usually read to relax before I sleep, so that was disappointing.

Dinner, and Breakfast was excellent. Staff were super
