Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThere is no direct parking included - but it is easy to use a Rainbow Slides Car Park - 15 min walk and only 4£ per 24 hours.
Perfectly equipped apartment, very convenient and perfectly located in the middle of the Old Town.

United KingdomJust a couple of small details: there were no coat hooks to hang wet jackets. And the recommended car park was actually closed at 3.30 on Sunday, not 6.00 as we had been told. We parked instead in the car park belonging to Thistles shopping centre which was very handy, but a little more expensive.
Really well located for exploring the city of Stirling on foot. Apartment was beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely well equipped, even had a spice rack! Communication by our hosts was exceptional, with clear videos about how to work everything in the apartment.

SlovakiaAbsolutely amazing accommodation – everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with great taste, and a detailed guide was provided to help us enjoy the stay even more. The location is perfect – right in the city centre, within walking distance of all the main sights. Highly recommended! Our only regret is that we stayed just one night. 😁

United KingdomPerhaps a sign on the gate to make it easier to find, but that’s a minor point really.

United KingdomOnly thing for us was that there was no parking with the property. The multistory parking was convenient, however they don’t do a day pass and it is £4 each time you enter to park.
The property was perfect. We stayed there as a family of four and there was plenty of space. The hosts have thought of everything that we needed. The property is central so it’s not far to the Thistle Centre. Liked the size of the TV in the lounge, it was nice and big and even had a Sky puck. The host was exceptional and answered my questions very quickly regarding a travel cot and high chair.

United KingdomNot a thing
It was beautiful and stylish and very homely and cozy. The central location is brilliant to go off and explore and so many shops and restaurants to choose from.

United KingdomIt's a personal thing but I would have preferred softer feather pillows. The exterior gate was unlocked throughout our stay and it wasn't possible to lock it. We didn't feel at all unsafe but it would have been preferable to have it locked. I would have given 10 stars had it not been for the lack of dedicated parking. However, it was easy to park on nearby streets.
A really nicely designed apartment, loved the decor and the fact it was so clean. It was very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Loved that it had a super king sized bed as this is rare to find in holiday accommodation. We appreciated the supplies of tea, coffee and other essentials, especially as we were only staying two nights. It was also a very quiet location and very handy being so close to the centre of Stirling.

IrelandSpacious apartment, large main bedroom, dog friendly. Good kitchen, with washing machine and dryer in separate utilities room. V close to the town centre on foot. Parking - reasonable value in secure multi story close by. Good way to access Edinburgh- leave the car and take the train. Nice (if a tad loud for us) dog friendly pub with food close by - The Castle Walls

We were only 3, but adequate space for all 4 beds to be filled. Everything top notch. RUN don’t walk to this property. I would never stay anywhere else in Stirling! AMAZING job team Juniper!
