Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe price was high, although we enjoyed our stay it was more than we’d have liked to pay. Breakfast buffet wasn’t very warm.
The property was clean and smelled lovely throughout. Staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond on numerous occasions. The facilities were good- we enjoyed swimming! Good selection at breakfast.

United KingdomNo facilities for families in a family room. No fridge to store baby milk. Couldn’t provide anywhere to store it and wouldn’t provide warm milk of an evening via room service. Had to ask for lots of amenities for room which normally are provided. Staying in an executive room snacks and drinks only available for a 2 hour slot which is around dinner time anyway.

United KingdomThe maintenance staff did not update the system to indicate that there was an issue with the 1st room I was given. The panel with the button for the lift next to the pool was not secured onto the wall properly. I was not looking for it, but I noticed that 2 of the 4 pillows on the bed were not clean. The pillowcases were not tucked in properly. So I noticed that 1 pillow had a large sweat stain and the other had a drop of blood on it. I moved these pillows onto the sofa and didn't use them. The wall behind toilet needed to be wiped properly. The parking charge is quite high, but I knew about it before I made the booking.
All the staff that I interacted with were friendly and pleasant. After I checked in and I went to my room, I found 2 staff members coming out of the room. They said that there was a maintenance issue they were fixing in the room. I went back to reception and the receptionist apologised and upgraded my room. The room was big and spacious. The shower and tub were separate, which was good. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from both mornings. Both days, I took a walk to the Resorts world and did a bit of shopping. I visited the Executive Lounge one of the nights and had a few snacks.

GermanyInfrastructure Overall is outdated. Wallpainting has scratches, wallpapers peel off slowly. British standard. Not comparable to EU standards. For the money it’s OK. But I expect more for a Hilton.

United KingdomVisited for Crufts with dog. Only very small section of the bar area is dog friendly and on the Saturday evening it was full, meaning we had to eat from the very limited room service menu. During an event like Crufts where the vast majority of the guests will be dog owners a larger section of the bar/restaurant should allow dogs. Also £30 per night for dog, which is fair, but most hotels pop some dog treats or at least a dog bed in the room when charging for dogs.

United KingdomThe only downsides, we’re that the shower took about 20 minutes to warm up so we think something was wrong with it, and the air con was extremely loud so we couldn’t keep it on overnight.
The food was really nice including the breakfast, the room itself was very clean along with comfortable beds. I liked that we had a shower as well as a bath; we also had a large TV which was very useful since we brought a PlayStation.

United KingdomIt could be even better if parking and use of the leisure facilities were included for residents.
Location is very convenient for events at the NEC. Our room was very comfortable with a huge bed. Breakfast was tasty with good variety and the best vegetarian sausages I've ever had. It was nice to have a bar and coffee shop on site. Parking was easy with plenty of spaces. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Room service menu choices was not very good , could not get a sandwich it had to be a main meal which we didn't want. And staff wasn't helpful to resolve problem .
