Dinner on the first night we had some problems with our starters being over cooked this was resolved our second night there was again problems with the starters being late and over cooked again this was resolved we cancelled the rest of our dinner

We were not informed the pool was closed until we arrived which was really disappointing as it was a key part of staying there. We were also offered no compensation and told to email someone else. The bar staff were friendly but I stood for almost 10 minutes at the bar until they acknowledged I existed. A simple “I’ll be right with you sir” would have been fine, but heads down ignoring you wasn’t cool.

We had dinner both nights and, while the food was good, it wasn't quite as good as on previous stays and the choice and quality was slightly disappointing. It was also quite pricy.

It would be a great addition to have a torch in the bedside drawers for walking to and from the high street when it’s dark.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities were good and clean, and the breakfast served a good selection. Great location.

Bed was really uncomfortable. Restaurant at evening meal very under staffed. We had to ask to place an order rather than staff approaching us. Also waited 30min to be served our drinks which came after our food.

Bar service slow and we also experienced loud music at night from room above or beside ours. Phoned reception but issue wasn't resolved after 1hr. Music eventually turned down around 11pm.

Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room beautiful (Atholl Suite) and early check in was possible which was a bonus. Breakfast and evening meal was lovely. Leisure facilities were clean and quiet.

The pillows and mattresses. Creaky and hard. Felt old. The younger staff. The older and perhaps more experienced staff were very polite and attentive. However the younger staff were inattentive, borderline rude and at times displaying a lack of respect for guests.

Pretty much everything. It was a beautiful hotel that was well looked after and we felt very special.

The drive has no lights so walking back from Dunkeld was an experience! Some subtle lights the length of the drive would be a much welcome addition.

Bar prices too high.

Excellent breakfast, bar supper and dinner very fair, but the price of wine was far too expensive for the quality and quantity. The room was more than adequate and the hotel was very warm and friendly.

Very welcoming staff with a whisky or sherry at check in. Beautiful decorated rooms and bathrooms with good shower. Very attentive and efficient staff. Situation beautiful with lovely walks up the river and into Dunkeld.
