Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Seems tired. TV was a bit dodgy. Also extra fee for room service and food is pricey anyway for what you get. Low value for money on food. Breakfast too pricey.

We barely slept, due to the noise made by guests in the adjacent room, shouting until all hours, constantly slamming doors. We had to be up at 3am for our flight anyway, so this was extremely frustrating. I had advised the front desk, who ( I think) had a word with the guests, but that did not seem to have had any effect

The bed in our room was very small, it felt more like a single bed. It was a shame as the room was huge and could easily have taken a king size bed.
Very close to the airport with a minibus service. The pool and gym were also great

We were assured the duvet was not feather as my husband is allergic to them.Unfortunately he realised in the morning that the duvet was in fact duck down.

Had to stay as a last minute stop over due to our flight being diverted. I booked online just before midnight and was in the hotel room about 15 minutes later. The lady on reception was lovely.

Breakfast had a small gluten free, dairy free section.
Last minute reservation and reception staff and bar staff were great, espresso coffee machine in room and comfortable beds, pillows were excellent and upgraded, toiletries were nice in the room

The bathroom was freezing! I had a shower and the water pressure was terrible it was a bit more than a trickle. And while the water was hot the bathroom was freezing! There was also a problem with the swimming pool temp when we were there.
Break fast was great! Staff were very polite and helpful. The main areas of the hotel and the room were great.

When we checked in around 4pm we booked a table for dinner at 7:45pm in the restaurant. However when we showed up at that time we were told there were no tables and we were not allowed to sit at the bar as we had a baby. We were advised to go back to the room and order room service instead. I sat on the phone for nearly 20 min waiting to call for room service (8:30 at this point) and had to call back 3-4 times to reach the front desk to say there was no one picking up. Finally the lovely lady at front desk took my food order and placed it for us. We didn’t receive food until after 9:15pm. This was the first stay at this hotel and I don’t think we would plan to eat there if we were to stay again. If we had been told it was too busy at time of check in we could have ordered food from outside to be delivered in. We had a small baby with us and just found it frustrating that we came down to the restaurant and couldn’t place an order for room service at the desk when they realised there were no tables.

The room was pretty cold upon arrival and took an age to heat up, also beware the swimming pool is not heated so if you’re looking for a warm swim, it’s not it. We went in early spring though so probably all fine in warmer months!
Easy location for flights with a free shuttle operating loosely until 10am. Access to the fitness centre was nice, and good selection for breakfast plus super friendly, helpful staff.

The reception check in was not great. Lisa/Lucy not sure of the name was singularly unpleasant and went as far as to say that we needed to wait and there might not even be a room - even though we had pre-booked and had confirmation of our stay. When she left for the day the remaining staff were much better and were very helpful. It was very unfortunate that we had this expereince.
The room was great, the restaurant was fine and the selection on the menu was very good. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Highly recommend the room and the restaurant.
