Think the kettle may have had some dirt on the inside as the tea in the morning had a strange almost burnt taste to it but that’s all.

Location was ideal and the bathroom was very nice, good shower.

I do believe, along with others, that the price they charge for drinks at the bar is beyond a joke. Hence, the majority of the time was spent elsewhere.

Room basic. Shower not great. Given a room right next to the lift area so constantly disturbed by people slamming doors and talking. Lots of younger people partying in the rooms on our floor - not ideal when travelling for business and need peace and rest.

Full of drunk people, there was a party in the room next door, prank knocking at our door at 2am, walls are think so if you’re close to elevator, anyone walking past your room will wake you up

Rude staff who made out I was thick when infact she wouldn't listen to what I was trying to say...you don't argue with customers ever!! Not as close to first direct as made out to be, I'm chronic asthmatic so this is important to me. Room service is apparently 24/7 but that's if anyone actually answers the phones, i attempted several times to no answer at all.

The only issue I would say was the car park, was great that they was one at the property however just abit tight but I understand it’s nothing to could change over night

We had to make a complaint about the evening security. Our friend (who lives in Leeds) joined us to get ready with us before a night out, leaving things in our room - we were celebrating our proposal - he met us at the hotel for pre drinks (but he wasn’t staying) We heading back to the hotel AFTER our night out - he needed to grab his belongings. Security wouldn’t let him in unless we “tossed him some money” We explained he was collecting his belongings from him being with us earlier.. but they made me stay downstairs until he returned from getting his things. After we’d finally got into our room - they then turned up at our door to search our room for “extra people” hiding in room. It did feel like they “had it in for us” - It was ridiculous and we complained on check out. Charmaine sincerely apologised and said she’d investigate it. Because of her amazing customer service we would stay here again but really hope the security are dealt with as we were made to feel like children.

Arriving at property our room was located next to a loud group - so we paid extra to upgrade to a suite (well worth it!) The staff from reception (Charmaine) restaurant, breakfast - all amazing. (Apart from something which I’ll explain in next section) Robes, slippers, coffee and tea - all a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and such a great selection. Location wise - perfect to bars/clubs. Parking is onsite but the car park is TIGHT.. my other half was not comfortable driving in it lol. All in all a great stay!!

Even with the heating in the room turned full up in the room both me and my son were freezing despite sharing a bed also. When you are disabled you do feel the cold more. Would of been nice if there were extra blankets in the cupboard for just in case as it was late and we didn't want to disturb the desk staff so late.

The hotel was beautiful, lovely, family friendly and accessible which is brilliant as I am a wheelchair user. Room has an accessible bathroom which was fantastic.

Local area is a bit 'under development'. Could do with an upgrade.

The hotel is being refurbished. It's quite old fashioned in a 1970s / 1980s sort of way. So much brown! But the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful, all through. Breakfast is pretty good (though the croissants were like bullets). It was quiet, central and a quick walk from the station.

The car park is awful, trying to turn on to the ramps to reach upper or lower levels is almost impossible. Its clear to see other drivers have hit the walls either side.

The hotel is clean and tidy and staff where pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast is amazing 👏

I think I was grossly overcharged on the room, having checked the day before, the same room would have cost me £60 less
