Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff were lovely but there were not many of them doing many jobs. For a group of us there was one bar person at the Langton and no one seemed to be at the main bar. Also on check in money was taken for breakfast and again at check out?
It was all very comfortable.

The rooms very outdated.not very clean, stains all over shower curtains, hairs in the bed, pillows were dead, bed uncomfortable. Drinking glasses dirty, dusty all over the TV and cabinet, windows dirt all over inside. Curtains very dirty, stains on the carpet

Parking fees - £7 a night/24 hours Bedrooms need updating. Rooms are dark and need more lighting. Room service needs to be daily.

Our room had not been cleaned to a standard I felt acceptable - a used plaster on the floor and dirt in bathroom. The whole hotel could do with some modernising, was very dated and looked tired. Evening meal wasn't to a standard I'd have hoped
The pool and spa facilities were great. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The rooms are in poor condition need up grade and the room was full of dust especially the drawers put clothes in pulled out covered in dust , hair dryer was covered in cobwebs dust .

Starbucks in the hotel was quite poor - cold unmixed hot chocolate. Mildly warm latte. Expensive food. Hotel is a bit tired. Very clean but it feels a bit stuck in the 90's

After paying £300 was shocked to find out we had to pay for parking. Room was set up for 2 people rather than 3 that we booked for.
The food was great but the hotel was tired looking. Booked for 3 but when we got to the room , the towels and glasses were for 2 people.

Hotel needs a little refurbishment as some of the rooms, hallway could do with a spruce up - one of the doors in the hallway glass was smashed, bathroom bit tired and dated. The food in the hotel restaurant far exceeded our expectations bar the veggie bowl which was a bit lacklustre. We had originally planned to eat out but we’re glad we stopped in. All the staff in the hotel were super friendly and very helpful.

Room was very tired and needed updating/modernising. Beds were uncomfortable. Not enough pillows or refreshments for the 3 of us.
Breakfast and swimming pool were great. Size of the room was great.

Dirty towels in the bathroom when I checked in. & I was only staying for one night and had the cleaners trying to come in at 9am and again at 10:50 (check out is 12pm) I should have do not disturb sign on but I think it’s ridiculous that they keep trying to come in when I haven’t checked out.

The standard of the Hotel was quite poor, There was a damp smell in the staircase. The restaurant staff were not very approachable and service was ok. The chef felt he was doing me a favour to make an omelette which i had requested.
The fact the property was close to the motorway.

The room initially looked good. The bathroom was a disgrace!! The room looked uncared for, unclean and the mould on the window was pretty disgusting. When I asked for non feathered pillows they brought me sofa cushions in a pillow case.
The hotel was beautiful and location was excellent for us. We only stayed one night just for a trio to see our daughter at uni. The room was a fantastic size for a family

Toilet roll poor quality and VAT of nearly £20 on room originally shown as £90 something pounds pushed bill up to nearly £120 at hotel bit disappointing so had breakfast at Macdonalds rather than paying nearly £34 at hotel.

Bathroom old and fan noisy, pillows too soft, room cold, 4 bar power socket on wall. Coffee bar didn't look open, a bit understaffed? Lobby toilets didn't flush! Ladies changing room at living well a bit tired - woodlice and missing swimming costume dryer.
Big room, comfy matress, lots of space in lobby, pool warm and large,easy to find, lots of tea/coffee/milk in the room. Staff at reception, restaurant and bar nice. Staff at living well really helpful. Good choice in restaurant and portions huge! Breakfast very good.

First they tried to sell me the room at a higher price, after showing them the booking.com price they agreed on that but charged me extra for car parking which I learnt later was free for who stays at the hotel. They apologized and told me that i already checked out so they can't refund. For customers who book via booking.com be careful.
