Drinks over-priced especially compared to the trendy wedding venue we went to a short drive away.

Spacious double room 2 double beds. Good location for us. Breakfast good.

Pool and jacuzzi closed some of the time Noise from adjoining rooms.

Not enough plug sockets in the room! No where to plug a hair dryer in near a mirror; no available socket near the desk to plug in laptop; No socket by the bed to plug in a phone overnight

The pillows are quite hard we asked for softer ones which they gave us within 15 mins. One negative for me was I asked for an early check in if possible and knew there would be a £10 charge we got there before 1pm and was charged £25 bit cheeky really

Breakfast was ok would have liked a bit more variety of hot Buffet always a bit dried up wherever I’ve stayed has been the same Gym was a bit limited on equipment And was very busy And due to work I missed the restaurant for evening meal had food from the bar which was ok however the starter came out with the main to which I was told “that’s what happens when you order from the bar”

Didn’t like the way the lights were, couldn’t just have a lamp on as soon as you flicked a light switch off it turned the lamps off too

The room didn't have any AC controls so got quite hot, with the window open you could hear noise from outside too which disturbed sleep a bit

Our room wasn't that clean, was quite a lot of dust. One more negative thing room was very dark, only 2 bedside lamps for family room

The decor looked tired throughout, quality of the food at breakfast and from the restaurant wasn't great and the service in the restaurant was very poor - I got a glass so dirty it looked like it had soil in it, we struggled to get anyone's attention in an almost empty restaurant while they were cleaning up other tables and shouting through to the kitchen staff. Waiting so long to be asked about puddings or to have plates cleared I gave up and went behind the front desk to get my own menu. At which point the head waiter suddenly sprang into life presumably thinking I was about to walk out without paying. Then they add 12.5% service charge to the bill! - generally speaking, I'm not mean enough to ask for it to be removed, but I came closer than I ever have before.

The price of the room was very reasonable and it was large and comfortable.

Hotel carpet and fixtures are little dated. The breakfast was average, dirty cups and not very nice coffee.

Air conditioning was not installed within the room which would have been preferred. The sink plug hole was rusted and some limescale build up could have been cleaned off. There was also limescale in the toilet which could have been removed with bleach and some scrubbing. The water pressure in the shower was quite low.

I stayed in the twin deluxe room which was big and spacious with good sized double beds. The sofa and coffee table were great. The facilities were good, tea and coffee and some decaffeinated options too which were appreciated. The bathroom was also a good size. The addition of iron and ironing board was good too. The reception area was large and well presented.
