Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It would’ve been nice to have some complimentary bottles of water for the room considering it cost £331 for 2 nights. It then cost £6 to buy 2 small bottles from the bar. There was also noise disruption from upstairs in the middle of the night but I know that can’t be controlled by the hotel. It was also difficult to contact room service initially but that was resolved.
Hotel was in a good location for what I needed it to be. Rooms were quite small but had all the facilities needed. Temperature of the room was really good.l - overall really comfy. Breakfast was good and excellent value for the money. Staff overall really good and couldn’t do enough to help.

We were on the 6 floor and it was a labyrinth of corridors getting to our room, wouldn’t fancy my chances getting out in a fire.

The room was abit basic and small for a Hilton and one of our towels was not clean. Apart from that was nice

My room was a bit musty when I walked in and it took a while to freshen up once I got the AC working. We left to catch the coach earlier the day we checked out and missed our breakfast which was included in our price as they serve breakfast later on the weekends which we were not aware of.
The hotel is perfectly situated to all of the shopping, restaurants and a quick walk to the center where activities happen.

The person who tried to direct us to the hotel sent me down the bus lane The Pounltry which will cost me a fine The hotel was difficult to find by road due to all the one way systems.Two traffic wardens were unable to direct me to the hotel
Receptionist was excellent as we had had a stressful time finding the hotel .She offered to upgrade us and a free breakfast

The spa facilities are no longer included in the cost, very disappointing! The public areas such as the foyer, staircase and corridors are looking a little tired. Signage for the rooms can send you round in circles so keep your wits about you!

The shower/bath didn’t have hot water for long The lamp wasn’t working in the room The cleanliness wasn’t amazing there was marks & what looked like lipstick on the door in the bathroom, the wet room was out of service & the hotel booking was quite expensive you have to pay for swimming on top. The floor was very noisy when walked upon in our room & the room above. The towels had a dark private hair upon them I saw this 3 times. The sink hole was mucky looks mouldy when filling the sink. The fridge was warm even on its coldest setting.
I like that the hotel is in a good location The bed was comfortable The breakfast was good The staff were polite

room small and a little basic for what I'm used to from Hilton to be honest, also the note coming to the room to say they had tried to gain access with a request that I needed to go to reception, then been told it due to an unpaid bill even though that was not in the letter pushed under my door and the room was prepaid....!! was not happy they have all my contact details so could of got in touch this is not the way to do business
the room was clean but not the easiest to find and good job I was only staying for a short time as the room was small and you could only get in the one side of the bed, Nice bar area though.

Was unable to order room service and the phone in the room didn’t work/nobody would answer so had to go all the way to the lobby to order. After ordering they said they didn’t have the items ordered.
Great location, dog friendly. Room was ready earlier than expected.

The beds weren’t great, when my partner moved I was rocking all over the place. The doors of our guests woke me up in the night quite a few times as they are so loud to close. I was also hoping to use the swimming pool but £10 per person seemed a bit expensive so we gave it a miss which was a shame.
The buffet breakfast was amazing, loved that a lot, lots of choice. Breakfast staff also very helpful! The bedroom and bathroom decor was also very nice.
